Chapter 2: "Memories"

August 1st

Harry watched Bill like a hawk as he pulled me into him, "hello darling." i giggle softly as he whispers to me not paying a lick of attention to Harry. he gently presses his lip to mine, i kiss back in relief Harry watches in shock. after a minute or so i pull back realizing people were boarding the train, "cmon darling." i tug on Bill's sleeve with our luggage in hand. we all walk to the train, me and Bill chatted but the other 4 not dare say a word, i didn't even notice the curly haired girl until we boarded the train and bundled up together in the small compartment. "whose this?" i ask pointing to the girl, Hermione. she looks at me sticking her  hand out, "i'm Hermione Granger.. and you are?" i look at her and then everyone else, "Hailey Potter." her hand drops slowly and her jaw drops, she immediately looks at Harry and hits him with a book, "you never told me you had a sister that was dating a WEASLEY!" i look at her, i already wasn't fond of her considering she was beating my brother with a book, "we aren't dating....yet, BUT that's besides the point. why are you beating my brother with a book anyways?" she looks at me quite nervous not knowing what to say, "i erm- i'm very sorry mrs. Hailey.." i lean my head on Bill's shoulder before i say too much. Harry finally answers her questions, "well like she said they are not dating, and we just found out today that we are siblings. we didn't even know each other." Hermione nods quickly.

about an hour later i wake up to a screeching noise from the wheels of the train, Harry gets up followed by Hermione and Ron. Ginny than followed them out leaving just me and Bill, "so you excited for our first day?" my face glows up happily and i nod. he laughs lightly and gets up putting his hand out for me to grab, i gracefully grab his hand. somebody had already taken our bags to the boats, once i walked out i was greeted by a big bear hug by none other than the gamekeeper, Hagrid. "hullo mrs. Potter," as i waved he turned to Bill with a surprised look, "fancy seein' you here Bill." Bill laughs and shakes Hagrids giant hand. "how longs it been boy?" Hagrid said scratching his chin he than looked at me, "how longs it been fer the both of yers?" me and Bill laugh and i look to Hagrid, "three years sir." Hagrid chuckles, "yer don' gotter call me sir, but it's been three years?" he scratched the back of his neck, "i remember when Hailey ere was afraid of me." i turn red and Bill nudges me, "you were afraid of ole' Hagrid?" i nod, "he's just- look at him! he's giant." Hagrid chuckled and lead us to our boat and then we all boarded. Hagrid had to have his own boat and it was bigger than all the other boats, mainly because he was bigger.

we had arrived to the castle, roughly 10 minutes later. "wow, it's been so long," i say amazed. Bill chuckles, "once we get situated i would like to take you somewhere." i look back to Bill, "alright." everyone steps off their boats and onto the dock, "FIRST YEARS, FIRST YEARS! FOLLER ME!" Hagrid was so loud, all the small first years ran to the front following him. me and Bill laughed at the sight, "i remember my first year at hogwarts, i didn't live with my father- er- i mean Sirius. i lived with Remus." Bill looks over at me, "my first year was nothing too special.. the whole year Charlie teased me." i look over at Bill with kind eyes, "it wasn't nothing too bad.." i nod and we arrive to the entrance of the castle. i peer inside, i then look to Hagrid who was waving us over, "i want ter show you the cabin i built for yer two over the summer." we both nod as he leads us down the path and to his little hut. when we arrive i see a small cabin, perfect for me and Bill. we both stare in amazement until Hagrid finally says, "so do yer like it?" i look up at him, "oh no i don't like it," i see his face drop and Bill nudged me, "i mean i love it! it's perfect Hagrid!" his face lit up, "thank yer, it took me the whole summer to build." i hug him along with Bill. "it's getting late i'm gerner head to bed, night." we wave, "night Hagrid." Bill turns to me, "now i wanted to show you something."

he had my eyes covered, "are we there yet?" he unclasped his hands from my eyes and revealed a very empty meadow, other than a small tree and small pond. the tree hungover the pond and there was space to sit. my jaw dropped, "Bill! it's gorgeous.." he grabs my hand and leads me under the tree, "i've been wanting to ask you something." he pulls a box from his pocket, he quickly got down onto one knee, "Hailey Remus Potter, would you care to take this promise ring and be my girlfriend?" my eyes were wide with shock, i quickly nodded, "yes Bill Arthur William Weasley, i would love to be your girlfriend." he slid the small ring onto my finger and picked me up. he kissed me for a long second before pulling back and admiring me, "i love you.." my eyes close and i whisper, "i love you most," before getting cut off by a yawn, "are you tired darling?" he whispered, i nod and bury my face into his chest.
