I can't remember who I was, just last december -Hinata Shoyo x Reader-

What have I done?

"...Oh my god... I can't remember who I was just last December, what have I done..." you cried into his chest, "Maybe I was foolish, I guess I was naive..."

I didn't know what I had, and I thought I had to leave

"Did you run away from home?" the question rang in your mind, you nodded, not knowing what would happen next.

I wish that I was homeward bound

"I wish that I was homeward bound, where a family waited for me that loved me, one that accepted that I like girls and boys, one that wanted me home, not one that didn't care that I was gone," you sniffled, "I'm currently staying with an old middle school friend, but it isn't permanent, and it's too far away, I don't know what to do, I can't live with them forever."

I'm searching for a signal, holding out my phone

"You are valid, I accept you, We have an extra bedroom at my house, it would be permanent, you could stay there and be safe, we could ride to school everyday together, ride home, I'm sure my parents would let you," Hinata offered, stroking your head softly as he soothed you from your state.

Have I gone too far, am I on my own?

"If I can I'd really like that..." you replied, hugging him tighter. It's been a long time since you had someone to hold onto, it was nice.

"Let's go to my house for tonight, tomorrow, we can go to your friends apartment and get your things alright?" Hinata told you, you nodded, letting the boy lift you up to your feet, frosting on the boy's clothes on your own. He carefully walked to the club room, getting his things, with you trailing behind and holding his hand. He walked you to his bike letting you sit on the back when he was on the front. Hinata peddled away from the school and towards his home, your bag on your shoulder as the wind flew by the both of you. Your arms were tightly wrapped around his torso. It was nice.

I'm running out of oxygen

You watched as the sun set, the sky a beautiful purple, pink and orange mess. You snuggled your head into the back of his jacket, a sense of safety and comfort radiating from the boy.

Can't help but wish I'd stayed

"Is it comfortable back there? I'm sorry next time you can ride my mom's bike to school, she doesn't use it often," he asked, but you nodded, he kept biking, finally arriving at his home. He parked his bike, getting off of it and making sure you were okay.

A rocket man in space

"Thank you again Hinata," you quietly thanked, he nodded slowly, grabbing onto your hand and going into the house, you were greeted by Hinata's little sister, Natsu, and his mother. His mother gave a worried look towards the two of you.

Oh my god, I can't remember

"Shoyo! You're home early!" Natsu smiled, running to him and hugging him tightly on his torso. Her eyes traveled up to meet yours, and you panicked, hiding behind Hinata like a child. "Who's this Shoyo? Is that your boy/girlfriend?"

Who I was just last December

"No Natsu, they're a friend of mine that needs a place to stay," he corrected, a blush slightly present on his face.

"Shoyo? Who's this?" his mother asked, walking up to the two of you, a worried look on her face.

What have I done, how did I get here?

"This is F/N L/N, my friend, they go by F/N, they need a place to stay, I'll elaborate why, but not when Natsu is around," Hinata turned to his sister, "I'm sorry but this isn't something I want you hearing."

Natsu frowned for a second before smiling and nodding, "That's okay, I'll talk to you later F/N-Senpai!"

What have I done?

Natsu went to another room, leaving you, Hinata, and his mother alone. You felt the tears well up in your eyes again. It scared you, but his mother seemed as gentle as him. Her short black hair swishing as she made her way over to the both of you.

"Oh Hun, come here, what happened to them?" his mother inquired, taking you into her arms, gently embracing you. You cried into her shoulder, as she stroked your head.

"They're Bisexual just like me, they came out and their parents abused them for months, they only recently got out of their home and have severe trauma, they don't have a home and I invited them to stay," Hinata explained, rubbing the back of his neck, his mom stared in shock before whispering to you. Your eyes widened when he said he was bisexual, taking you off guard.

Oh my god, look in the mirror

"Oh hun, you are accepted here, don't worry, come on, I'll have to prepare the room we have, so stay in Shoyo's room tonight, I'll get a futon and a bath started," she told you, pulling away from you as you wiped your eyes and nodded. She briskly walked out of the room, and you went to Hinata, hugging him, you just needed comfort at this point. You were so glad someone accepted you. The amount of relief that washed over your body, this was going to be the start of your new life, where you fell in love with your future husband.

I was young, nothing to fear once, what have I done?
