A/N Slight trigger warning!

Bokuto

I know his name is really Akaashi, but he is kind of apathetic sometimes.

If he really hated it, he would've stopped being my friend ages ago.

Yet there he is, standing there and soaking up the sunlight like another taller, humanoid sunflower.

Wait, that sounds weird. ANYWAYS BRAIN YOU GET WHAT I MEAN.

I don't even know how Kuroo got here so fast, I called him like, a minute ago. This sunflower field is in the middle of nowhere-land, not even close to the city, and it's HUGE as well!

So there's no way that he got here in only a minute.

Unless...

I grab Kuroo by the arm and drag him off to the side. Roughly, I whisper, "Did you follow me here?"

Kuroo shrugs off my grip, which takes more effort than one thinks it should. "No way, I would never stalk my best bro friend!"

I arch an eyebrow and frown.

Kuroo puts up his palms facing me. "Okay, I followed Apathy over there." He points at Apathy-kun looking curiously at us.

I almost explode. "DUDE!!! BRO!!! WHY WOULD YOU FOLLOW APATHY!? THAT'S LIKE, A CODE RED LEVEL 7 OFFENSE OF THE BRO CODE, LIKE WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!?!?!"

Kuroo shrugs nonchalantly. I almost "accidentally" punch him in the face.

There's a tap on my shoulder.

I turn around and see Apathy-kun standing there, his demonic aura almost visible. I step to the side quickly, letting him walk up to Kuroo, who doesn't seem bothered at all.

WHAT?!? DOESN'T HE KNOW APATHY-KUN IS LIKE A MURDERER WHEN HE GETS MAD?!?!?

Apathy-kun grabs him by the ear, whispering something to Kuroo, who...still looks cocky as ever. WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM?!?

Apathy-kun twists his ear a bit, and I catch a harsh whispered "got it?" from across the field. Kuroo nods, and Apathy-kun lets go of his ear, satisfied. Then, as he walks towards me, all anger gone, Kuroo sneaks up behind him and tackles Apathy-kun to the ground.

"Oi! Let go, you pain-in-the-ass Kuroo-san!"

Kuroo now has him in a headlock. "I thought I said to never call me that again."

Apathy-kun's face looks a bit strained as he claws helplessly at Kuroo's arm. My own face goes white at the sight of them fighting.

"Ah- bro, maybe uh, let Apathy-kun go."

Kuroo looks up at me, and after a few tense seconds he lets Apathy-kun fall to the ground. Apathy-kun clutches at his throat and coughs while Kuroo gets up and wipes off his hands.

"Next time, don't threaten me, Apathy."

Apathy-kun glances up at him, then looks away again.

I stand in stunned silence, then turn around as I hear a familiar voice shouting across the field.
