Part 19, In A Coma~

I know she's fighting, that's all she's ever done. I just hope she doesn't give up on it. I've known her since she was a child and she was always fighting, maybe she's decided to give up? I really hope she hasn't, nothing would ever be the same without her, even walking around the compound, going to parties.

She brightens up every room she walks in, she's the 'yellow' of the avengers. She can't leave us, not yet.

Nat's POV

I haven't known Olivia very long but we became really close. She's one of my best friends. She'd been in a coma for about 5 minutes and all I wanted was for her to just open her eyes and tell us all it was a prank, but that's not gonna happen. She's in an actual coma and nobody is sure if she will wake up and if she does we don't know when. Could be weeks, could be months, could be years.

Tony and Bucky won't be able to survive years without her. They just can't, neither can the rest of us. Not knowing is the worst part, the desperate feeling of longing, just wanting her to come back but nobody knows if she will. That's the worst part. She needs to wake up, and soon, before the boys crack without her, because it's only a matter of time before they do.

Peters POV

As soon as I saw her I started crying. With all those machines keeping her alive I was scared that she was gonna die. That she would leave us. She's one of my best friends, she can't leave. Not yet, it's not her time. This can't be it for her. Memories of the good times flooded my mind making me cry even more.

What if she didn't make it? What would that mean for the rest of us? Mr. Stark would loose it. Bucky would surely go insane without her. MJ and Ned would be devastated, especially MJ. No! I can't think like that, she will live. She'll come back to us, she has to. She's a fighter, if she doesn't make it then we all know that she tried her hardest. There's no way she would voluntarily leave us, she wouldn't do that, not unless she was too tired of fighting, but she loves her dad and boyfriend too much to give up on them, to give up on herself.

Thor's POV

With the little one in a hospital bed it made me realise how much she actually impacted my life. Her snarky little comments that made me laugh, her sassy tone and the pranks she played sometimes made my day. It's hard to believe that I'm looking at the same girl. Her face is pale and lifeless compared to before. Even thinking about never hearing one of her comments again made me extremely upset. She's the sun in all our lives, our happiness.

Without her, I think we'll all fall apart. Tony will be a miserable bastard, keeping to himself and that's the best case scenario. Bucky will go psycho, probably off the rails. The two may even kill them selves to try and join her, she definitely impacted them the most out of everyone, I just hope she has the strength to fight back and come back to us.

Bruce's POV

I feel useless stood here doing nothing. I'm the doctor but I couldn't help her, and I can't help her now. She doesn't deserve this, she's so innocent, so young, she can't die. She's brought so much happiness into the compound since the minute she arrived, without her the place will feel empty.

What place? We just blew it up. She has to survive this, if she doesn't, I don't think Tony and Bucky will either. She belongs with us, with the avengers, I know that's where she's supposed to be. Which means that she can't leave yet, this isn't the end of the line for her and I'm gonna do everything I can to ensure that she comes back to us.

Clint's POV

I can't believe I'm stood here. This is the last thing that I thought would happen. I thought she'd surely be standing at my hospital bed, but no. I'm stood at hers. I owe her my life and I can't do anything to save hers like she saved mine. She's so unbelievably selfless it's annoying. I know for a fact that she would sacrifice her life for anyone in this room without a second thought but she doesn't have to.
