The mystery that led to a secret

Chapter 1: the beginning

Jake knew he was screwed. He knew the moment he entered the dark damp forest of the deep. He entered the forest wearing his favourite grey hoodie, his grey beanie and black Jean's. His whole outfit matched with his black hair and glasses which looked like a mask. 2 years ago jake gained an alley so to speak....it was a beautiful German shepherd. He was unique, not like the other German shepherds he had seen previously. But all his joy was about to change in 30 minutes. In 30 minutes, he would be fighting for his life, in 30 minutes everything would be different Jake continued sprinting through the dim-lit forest panting for breathing his head was spinning he knew he made a mistake and wished he could turn back time. "Wait wait wait let's go back a few hours get to know this man a bit shall we how he got into this mess" *a couple of hours earlier* make was a college student he was on a scholarship and was hardworking and determined to get the job he wanted most he studied at the best school in the country and had good grades he had a normal life growing up but around a year ago his parents got into a car crash and his father had sadly dad whereas his mother was in the hospital he worked part-time at a library only just earning enough to own a flat at 15 pounds a month and get food on his table not to mention he had a little sister who he looked after to sometimes Jake wouldn't eat so his little sister could little do he know his life was about to be turned upside down
