Elena is a vampire in this and I just kinda took a lot of old current situations from each character's perspective and mashed it together. Hope you enjoy.

All the girls were sitting in the Salvatore's living room when Katherine suggested a girls night out. "We should all go out" Katherine said looking at Caroline, Rebekah, Bonnie and Elena.
"That's actually a good idea" Caroline said looking at everyone for approval.
"It does but.....I don't know guys" Bonnie said pulling down her sleeves so it could cover her wrists.
"It could help take our minds off of all of this Silas crap" Elena said nudging Bonnie with her elbow.
"I suppose I could" Rebekah said.
Caroline looked over at Rebekah absentmindedly just thinking 'her curls were curled perfect today'.
Rebekah looked over from all of the persuading everyone was doing to Bonnie and saw Caroline staring.
Caroline looked away engaging more in the persuasion.
Rebekah looked away as well brushing off Carolines sudden 'weirdness'.
"I mean if you don't wanna come you don't have to, I'm just saying you'll miss out on all the fun" Katherine said smirking hoping everyone would come so it wouldn't be boring because someone had to cast a spell, find a spell, fight a vampire, let alone try to defeat Silas.
Everyone just needed a night to let loose.
Rebekah needed a break from her complicated family and paranoid Klaus and all the broken hearted shenanigans left over from Marcel. She wanted to see how she could be without 'true love' and a man on the brain. She wanted to express her independence and her strength.
Caroline needed a break from moping around in her dorm room because of Tyler choosing vengeance over her. After Klaus left and had a child she never really thought about him much and if she did she hoped he was doing as best as he could to do right by his child. She decided she needed to focus on herself.
Bonnie needed a break from everything in general. She was the glue that held everything together. She was doing a lot of magic because of how strong she was. The magic from the expression was still with her but she learned how to manage it without it overwhelming, let alone killing her. She couldn't mend things with Jeremy, not that she really wanted to. She knew that he still had feelings he was holding on to about his former relationships because they didn't exactly end in a break up.
Elena needed to take a break from her internship and get far away from the Salvatores as possible. When Stefan left with Klaus and cut everything off between them, Damon was there to help her through it. So she started to develop some sort of teensy weensy feelings for him but before that got her involved with Damon she cut every emotional, romantic everything off with BOTH of them. Which is good. She was still hanging around them but it was friendly she made that very clear. They were her really good friends.
Katherine just wanted to get wasted or at least thats what she wanted everyone to think. Deep down she wanted to find herself because she knew that after Klaus declared her 'free' she's been dreading this. After all of the running, the killing, the fighting, the hunting she wanted to see how she could be without all of that....well not all of it. She still needed her bitchy and diabolical side.

Bonnie ended up staying so she could get some awfully needed me time and everyone decided to go to a bar just outside of Mystic Falls.
The doppelgängers sat at the bar drinking while the blondes danced the night away.
"You know you're starting to get bearable" Katherine said stirring her drink around with the mini umbrella with her forearms on the counter top.
