Hotel

*inside the hotel*

Sonic- the floors were sticky, the crowd was rough, and the odds were against us. But there was no stopping donut lord, music girl, and the blue blur. Scratch another one off my list

Tom- you are a weird little dude

Y/N- and a cute one too

Sonic- *blushes* (she actually thinks I'm cute)

Sonic was given an ice pack for his face and copies all of Tom's movements

Sonic- so what are we gonna do now

Tom- I'm gonna pass out watching tv, I think you should too

Sonic- but this is my last night on earth, I wanna soak up every last second

Tom- well anything you can find to do in this room, you knock yourself out

He finds every possible thing to do in the room, creating a mess in the process and takes a 3 second shower

Sonic- good times

Y/N- room service is gonna have fun with this room

The room suddenly smelled bad because Sonic farted

Tom- oh come on that's awful, what did you eat

Sonic- I think it's called a chili dog

Tom- might wanna check your fur on that one buddy

Y/N- that was pretty gross

Sonic- sorry

Tom- so what's this next planet you're supposed to go to like

Sonic- it's no earth, I can tell you that. There's no people, just breathable air and giant mushrooms

Tom- well look at it this way, at least you won't be the only fun guy

Sonic- no, don't ever do that again

Y/N- *chuckles* that was a good one

Sonic- I'm really gonna miss this place, I know I have to leave earth to be safe but what if Longclaw was wrong....maybe I could have a life here

Y/N- who's Longclaw

Sonic- oh she was my guardian owl who looked after me and raised me

Y/N- so she's like your mother

Sonic- I wouldn't say mother, just a guardian

Tom- alright we should get some sleep

Sonic- you sleep, don't worry about me, I'm gonna stay up all night enjoying earth while I can

Tom- as long as we're on the road by 8:00

He finds Sonic and Y/N passed out in bed together and tucks them in. He also noticed that on his bucket list he wished to make a real friend. He saw on the news that he was being considered a terrorist now

It was about 4:00 in the morning now and Y/N couldn't fall back asleep so she stepped outside to get some fresh air. Unknown to her, Sonic had woken up too

Sonic- Y/N

Y/N- huh...oh...I didn't wake you did I

Sonic- maybe but it's no big deal. What are you doing out here anyway

Y/N- couldn't sleep so I thought I'd get some air

Sonic- some night we had

Y/N- yeah....and I also wanted to thank you for saving me from....getting punched in the face I guess

Sonic- no problem, anything for you

Y/N- that's really nice of you

Sonic- I'm really gonna miss you

Y/N- I will too, it's actually been nice having you around

*awkward silence*

Sonic- so uh....any new music you've been working on

Y/N- actually I have....there's this new song I've been working on and I think I might have finished it

Sonic- can I hear it

Y/N- sure but I don't wanna be too loud because my dad is sleeping

Sonic- oh right right

Y/N- *pulls out my ukulele* I call this song "the light of hope"

After she finished, Sonic had practically fallen in a trance from her voice

Y/N- um Sonic

Sonic- *shakes head* huh what

Y/N- you ok there

Sonic- oh yeah, just zoned out a little

Y/N- you looked like you were in a trance

Sonic- because you have the most beautiful voice I've ever heard

Y/N- I only really tend to play music for my parents but I'm glad to know there's someone else out there who enjoys listening to me

Sonic- bet you'll grow up to be a famous music performer one day

Y/N- well we should probably get back to sleep, we gotta be up early

Sonic- yeah you're right

They both head back inside and drift to sleep again. Meanwhile Robotnik was still on the hunt for Tom and decided to investigate at the piston pit. There were people busy fixing all the damage done from the fight that broke out

Stone- did you see where he was going

Man- maybe, maybe not. Like I'd ever tell you

Robotnik- stand down agent Stone, this well meaning citizen obviously doesn't understand the urgency of the matter

Man- really

He just ends up getting thrown through a window by Robotnik

Robotnik- now that's what I call good cop bad cop

Stone raised his hand for a high five but just got punched in the gut

Robotnik- left yourself open

They both head inside Robotnik's lab to search for Tom

Robotnik- judging by the quickest route to San Francisco, the approximate speed for their vehicle, local weather conditions. They should be right about here

Stone- that's brilliant sir

Robotnik- thanks *whispers* for nothing
