chapter 10

"well there we go. now you both have one" i say with no sarcasm at all :D

"whatever" she's says and rolls her eyes at me.

i give the booklet i was still holding back to sunghoon. before he has a chance to say anything i storm back off  to my original seat to do my work.

i sit down and jake follows, handing me a booklet that i forgot to save for myself.

"what's up with you...?" he asks cautiously

"on my period" i whisper slightly embarrassed at everything i just did.

"OHHHH NO WONDER"

i glare at him a little and he instantly shuts up, looking down at his paper.

i glare daggers into the back of that girl's head.

she's so annoying

"hey do you even know who that girl is?" i ponder on to jake. he observes her for a little while and gets back to me .

"i've heard some rumors."

"of course you have"

"apparently she's dated some seniors. tries to get with all the good looking guys in school, doesn't even care if they're older or younger which is quite disturbing. hasn't gotten around to me yet. i'm sure she will eventually." he said the last bit proudly, popping his collar, while i turn away pretending not to know him.

"okay class open the booklet to the first page. an experiment is there so just follow the instructions, get your equipment out and do the experiment. since there's so many of us we'll be in groups of four. don't forget safety equipment, all right off you go now."

the teacher shoos us off and jake and i go to set up the experiment, waiting for someone to just come and eventually join us.

"yo where'd youngmi go?"

jake looks around trying to find her, only to see her already in a group with jay and two other random ppl.

"weLP guess they're not joining our group"

"hey can we join?"

as suspected someone comes up after we've set up so they can avoid helping. happens all the time.

"yea sure" i say and look up to see who will be leaving all the work to me and jake today.

lol never mind

"oh hey sunghoon.... hey heeseung."

"sorry we couldn't help set up. we were walking around trying to find a group to join but they were all full." heeseung said sheepishly.

"oh it's okay. you and sunghoon can help record results or something." i hear jake say from behind me. i turn around and glare at him but he gives me his lost puppy dog face.

i turn back to the two intimidatingly tall boys and smile awkwardly.

"yea you two can join if all the other groups are full" i say without stuttering.
