Chapter 34 : A Surprise

DISCLAIMER: I will just translate the remaining chapters of Breath since I am also waiting for the translators update 🙃. And as I translate I also read it LOL.

Some of the parts were hard to translate so I decided to put my own wording to it based on my understanding.

Prologue up to Chapter 33

Although Tul was born into a wealthy family, as the eldest son of the Medthanan he has never held a birthday party at all. As per order of  Tul's grandmother that no events will be held for Khun Tul. This tradition has not changed, the first reason was it was not necessary, and another reason was Tul was indifferent since the day that he was born.

But the boss of the house didn't care, not all the house workers feel the same. From 3 o'clock in the morning, the smell of the cooled food prepared by the servants for Tul to give alms to the monks in the morning in front of their house together with the other servants. After giving alms to the monks they went back to the kitchen to have a small breakfast feast. With the food they had prepared, all of them gather for the small feast for Tul. Everything must be done before Khun Rasa wakes up for breakfast.

"Khun Tul be patient. In just a little while, you will be able to finish university." My father hold Tul's hand and told him in a soothing voice  with love and appreciation, because he was the one who had seen the boy's struggle growing up. But he believes that after the hardships there will be only good things that will come for him.

"A little more patience"

"Yes, thank you!" Tul looked him in the eyes and shifted his attention to the other people that he respects more than his father. And squeezed his hands back "I wouldn't be able to do it if it wasn't for your son."

Tul looked at me the closest to him, I stood there talking with the other workers. For many days which I avoided and stay with him alone all the time. Which made Tul laughed, because he realized that I was embarrassed of what he had asked for, for his birthday present. That makes the other party to be put aside and enjoy his present tonight.

The thought of it made Tul smile and turned to my father and said.

"Thank you uncle, for allowing him to stay beside me."

That made me look towards him because of his strong voice, just like the day when I was introduced to him.

"And will always be like that."

From the day their family helped our family. Our family was indebted to Khun Pathanan until his last breath. Since I am useful to Khun Trai's son, he did not hesitate to introduced me to Tul.

"I'll do whatever it takes, just to make it like that." Tul smiled, his eyes were sparkling (?), he turned towards the other workers to receive blessing. Even though he told my father that he will never let me go out of his sight or not allowing me to go out with other people.

I should be always at his side, and must be with him forever.

Tul didn't know that this would be the last birthday that I am here before I will leave.
