Sophie already has enough drama with Fitz and Keefe, especially with her winnowing gala coming up, and Biana doesn't want to add to that. but when her head tells her one thing and her heart tells her another, who knows what could happen.
I glared at everyone as Sophie glittered away. ''dont follow" were the only words I said before leaping to Havenfield. I looked around and saw Sophie sitting under the Panakes tree with Wynn and Luna. I sat next to her and lightly tapped her on the shoulder. she whipped around, but her gaze softened when she saw it was me. "are you mad?" I asked. she leaned her head against the tree. ''can you be more specific?"
"are you mad at me?"
she looked up at the sky through the branches. "no.'' it was one word, but it made me feel better. there was a long silence. Luna trotted over to me and rested her head in my lap. I wiggled myself so that I was facing Sophie, but Luna was still comfy. I gave her a half smile. "baby alicorns make everything better dont they." Sophie laughed softly. " yeah, they do." more silence. Sophie tugged out an eyelash and flicked it away. I frowned. "that has to hurt." she shook her head. "no, not really." I nudged her. "when's your winnowing gala?" Sophie looked uncomfortable. " a month.'' my eyes widened. ''thats... really soon." when Sophie didn't say anything, I poked her. then I poked her again. I poked her five times before she swatted my hand away. ''whats the big idea!" I grinned. "wanna have a sleepover?'' her eyes brightened. ''always!'' I smiled. ''let me get changed, then I'll come over." I took out my home crystal and leaped away. when I got home I pushed past everyone else and went to my room to get changed. when I was done, I looked like this:

as soon as I knocked on the door, Sophie answered it. so cocked her head to one side. "you like to wear fancy stuff." I shrugged. "actually, this is in the regular section of my closet." Sophie's eyes widened. "no way." I giggled. ''lets just go inside." Sophie blocked the door. "no way. follow me." I walked behind her, confused. she stopped In front of Silviney. they must have had a mental convorsation, because Sophie grinned. "do you wanna ride an alicorn?"
