Tommy slammed the door shut, ignoring Phil calling him back, as he plowed through the snow angrily. Techno had been telling Tommy to eat steak instead of eating all his golden apples, and it got a bit carried away, despite Wilbur's and Philza's attempts to calm the situation. Long story short, it resulted in a fuming Tommy and an extremely frustrated Techno.

Tommy thought the snow would cool him off as he ran as far from Techno's cottage as he possibly could, too angry to think about this decision.

As he calmed down, he looked around the snowy landscape, not recognizing any of it. Another strong, cold breeze wafted over him as he started to panic. What if he couldn't find his way back? What if he froze out here in the snow? What if he came across Dream? He tried to push down these thoughts to the back of his head, finally deciding to try and retrace his steps. You would probably think 'oh, just follow your footsteps home!' The thing was, since the wind was strong today, it had been blowing snow drifts over his tracks as he ran, making him completely and utterly lost, tired, and alone.

He decided to keep pushing forward, despite how tired he may be.

Eventually he was getting too cold to think straight, his brain shutting down. He turned his gaze up from his boots to the horizon, seeing small brown dots rather far away. He thought he was imagining it at first, but as he drew closer, the brown dots turned into many small spruce houses.

A village. Finally.

He sprinted towards it, still thinking it might be an illusion caused by his frozen brain. As he drew near, he saw village folk happily walking down the paths between the houses, and people bustling around a market place.

He sped up, if that was even possible, and reached the outside of the village, panting. He looked around for the closest villager to him, eventually spotting someone and tapping their shoulder. The villager turned around, blinking in concern at the blonde.

" Are you alright sir? You seem awfully cold... " Said the kind sounding woman. She had long brown hair and amber eyes. " I-I am l-looking for a p-p-place to s-stay. D-do you know anywhere I-I could go? " Tommy stuttered out, shivering, as he forgot to bring his coat as he rushed out of Techno's home in a hurry. The kind stranger pointed him off to an Inn called the Lazy Sloth Inn, and recommended him going to the marketplace later to get a coat.

As he walked through the doors of the Inn, he was met with a surge of warmth flood to him. He heard someone talking, and he turned in their direction. A tall, lanky looking man with a fluffy coat and glasses waved cheerfully to him, smiling. He walked closer to the man, he got a strange aura of kindness radiating from him.

" Hello! " The man said cheerfully " Welcome to the Lazy Sloth Inn! How may I help you? "

" I'm looking for a place to stay for a while. " Tommy said, still taking in how cheerful this man could be when it was freezing temperatures outside.

" Ah! I can help you there! If you go upstairs, there are comfortable rooms there! Let me get you a key. (It's Minecraft, pretend it's free to stay at an Inn) Here we are! Here is your key. May I inquire as to your name, sir? "

" Uhm, it's Tommy, Tommyinnit. " He managed to say without stuttering or his voice shaking.

" Hey, I know you! Weren't you the guy that got exiled from the land across the sea a while back? "   Tommy was quite taken aback. He didn't know news traveled that quickly! " Uhm, yeah that's me. Anyways, I'm going to my room, nice talking to you. " He didn't feel up to socializing.

Tommy had to restrain swearing at the man for various reasons; 1. He needed the mans help, as he didn't know where home was, not that he wanted to go back. 2. If he was going to stay here for a while, he might as well get on the people's good sides.

He headed upstairs to his room at a brisk pace, not wanting to spend long talking. He found his room, opening it and rushing inside, closing and locking it behind him quickly. As he looked around, he realized what the man said about the room was true. It was a smaller, but not cramped, room with plants hanging on the ceiling and a large red rug on the floor. There was one bedroom, with a twin bed covered in red and white sheets. He slipped off his shoes and laid on the bed. It was quite comfortable, if you ask him.

He only meant to rest his eyes for a moment, but as he closed his eyes, he felt his consciousness slipping away almost immediately.
