I took off my glasses and headed to the pantry. To my surprise, there's 2 people here. The CEO's favourites, Yoon Jeonghan and Joshua Hong. I felt like going back to my place but they've noticed me and it'd be rude if I leave without saying hi or something.
"Oh Sophia, staying overnight again ?"
Asked Jeonghan
"Yupppp, boss gave us a lot of work again and since Heeyoung's not present it's kind of doubled for me"
I said as I made some instant coffee for myself
"Must've been hard for you"
Said Joshua
"Used to it."
I replied as I drank the coffee slowly.
"You know, I am kind of troubled with my work today, do you mind helping me with it ? I promise to credit you for real"
Asked Jeonghan
"Can't believe the CEO's favourite's asking me for help"
I said as I felt bitter. Like really bitter.
"Usually you guys are favoured and loved by her. I guess you guys have really worked hard to impress her"
I chuckled
"OMG Sophia no, you don't have to help him. You have a lot to settle right ??? I'll help him instead"
Said Joshua as he was really embarassed by his best friend's sudden request
"Well I don't mind helping but someone's waiting for me right now. When's the due date ??"
I asked
"The due date's in two more days"
Said Jeonghan
"Then I'll try to help you tomorrow. I probably have to go home now. Someone's waiting for me."
I said and leave after I washed my mug
