Silently getting ready, Hana Uzumaki looks at her face and frowns at herself. She knew she looks like the exact same as her mother did when she was her age, but she can't help but feel insecure about her eyes and short hair.

"Hana! Time to eat!" Shouts her loud brother as he bangs on her door. "I'm coming!" She shouts back in her soft voice.

She looks back at her face and sighs as she sees no whiskers. People have always doubted that she was an Uzumaki but she just wished she had one thing of her father.

She isn't saying that her mother isn't beautiful, quite the opposite, she just doesn't like how much she is like her. For example: She's prone to fainting in front of her crushes and she blushes easily. She is also terribly shy.

She finally stops and walks downstairs. She sees her mother making food and smiles at the sight of noodles in the lazy Susan. Okay, maybe....just maybe.... she is a bit like her father.

"Don't even think about it." Her mother catches her. She blushes and nods her head. "Sorry..." Her mother laughs. "You really are just like me." Hana blushes even more.

"Hana! Wanna hang out?!" Her hyper brother, Boruto shouts. She freezes and shakes her head. "I can't today, I have to train."

"Out of the both of us, you're more likely to get the Byakugan, ya know?" Boruto sighs. Then he gets an idea. "You'll get to see Inojin~"

Hana gets even more red, if possible, at the name of her crush. "Boruto! Stop making fun of your sister."

-

After they ate, they went their separate ways, Boruto went to hang out with his friends and she runs off to train in the forest.

"BYAKUGAN!" Nothing. "BYAKUGAN!" Nothing. Third times a charm. "BYAKUGAN!" Ugh.... She gets tired of straining her eyes and instead starts practicing her kunai throws.

She hears a bush move and throws one over to the noise. She goes over to investigate and sees the one person she hoped she didn't have to.

"Hello Hana." He tilts his head and smiles with his eyes closed. "I-Inojin!" She turns red. "W-what are y-you doing h-here?" She starts to stutter and turns even more red when she hears herself.

"I'm practicing my fathers jutsu. You?" He asked. "I'm t-t-trying to..." She gets lost in his green eyes for a moment. "BYAKUGAN!" She blushes up an embarrassing amount as he jumps back, startled.

"S-SORRY!"

"It's okay. Are you okay? You're turning pretty red." That just makes her turn even more red. "I-I'm fine." Silence.

"Well, good luck unlocking it." He smiles and goes to leave. But before he does, he turns to her and gives back her kunai. "You know, you have very pretty eyes." And with that, he's gone.

And she's on the floor, passed out from the compliment.

-

Walking back into the house was easy. Facing her family with the amount of blush on her is another.

She goes to her room to shower and change then comes downstairs to eat. It's pretty late, yet she still remembers everything.

"Big sister Hana, are you okay? You're so red! Mama, is she sick?" Hana turns even more red that Boruto and Himawari were afraid she was going to explode.

"Hana is okay, Himawari," Hinata reassured her daughter while also keeping her eldest daughters condition a secret. Hana calms a bit but starts to get red as she remembers again.

Hinata changes the subject. "Boruto and Hana, you start the academy tomorrow." She smiles at them, proud. "I got to know your father at the academy."

"I've heard that so many times, ya know." Boruto says, bored. Hana pushes him lightly. "He caused a lot of trouble, making people treat him like a problem child. But he was actually very cool."

"I've heard that so many times too." Boruto interrupts, again. Hana smiles at how her mother was just like her and she ended up marrying her crush. Of course, she just hopes that she has the same happy ending.

"I though he would be here tonight." Hinata looks down. "That's nothing new. He just keeps ignoring all of you."

"T-that's not true," Hana tries to defend but she knew she lost the moment she stuttered. "Your father works very hard to maintain peace-"

"But there's no enemy to protect us from," Boruto argues. He refuses to look at them. "You'll learn when you go to the academy tomorrow." Hinata ends it.

-

Hana waited for her brother until she saw that she was going to be late. Hinata saw her and nodded, she could leave. Hana hugs her little sister tightly and kisses her mothers cheek.

Just before she leaves, she turns to her mother. "Mama, do you think, that what happened to you and papa, could happen to me too?"

Hinata looks at her shocked. "I-I think that as long as you both have a mutual amount of respect for each other, anything is possible."

Lavender eyes meet lavender eyes and they smile.

-

Hana waits anxiously for her brother, who still has not shown.

"Uzumaki Boruto!"

No answer. Hana starts to fiddle with her fingers. "Uzumaki Hana!" She calls out. "Here!" But it was too low. "Uzumaki Hana?" Shino calls again as he was sure he saw her somewhere. "Here!" It was so low that he almost didn't catch it

But it helps that he was on her mothers team. "There you are." He sees how red her face is from being called out. He feels like he went back in time. Seeing a small Hinata standing there with a red face, glancing at a blonde boy, and fiddling with her fingers.

A screeching sound broke his thoughts. Everyone looks up to see a train crash into the face of the Hokage. NOT THE ACTUAL ONE! THE STATUE!

"Boruto!" Hana gasps. Kohohamaru went up there and started scolding Boruto. Who tried to fight him but was easily beaten.

"I would hate to be related to him." Inojin came up to her. She turns quick to him to stutter a response but she didn't count on him being so close to her face.

(Obviously Inojin isn't upside down)

"I-Inojin..." Her face got super red and she fainted. Lucky that her father was there and saw what was happening. He found it very funny how much she mirrored her mother but did not like how close that boy was.

He caught her and smiled awkwardly at people who stared.

-

When she came to, she was told that her brother had two weeks of suspension. She felt annoyed at him but knew there was nothing to do about it.

Then she was told that she fainted in front of her whole class. Then she fainted again.
