Chapter 5

"I'll destroy you" Asami gave him a evil grin and korra rolled her eyes listening to the conversation

The teacher started the test, and the 22 students started running. Bolin was the 6th student out, and first from the four, ending a 62. Opal was next being the 7th stopping at 67. Mako being the 12th out leaving at 93, Asami following after at 94.

"LOSER!!" Asami shouted panting pointing at Mako

"YOU BEAT ME BY ONE" Mako shouted

"I STILL BEAT YOU" Asami still panting

"how many people left?" Mako said trying to change the subject

"Asami was the 12th person out so 10" Bolin answered and paused "nope, 4 now" he said as people stopped running and headed towards the sides

"and Korra's one of them" Opal pointed out

I was Korra, Iroh and 2 other boys. They finally reached 101 and both of the boys quit leaving Iroh and Korra.

"My bets on Korra" Asami said

"WHAT Iroh always been the last one standing" Mako said

"he has a point" Bolin said

"Yea but Korra actually went through training" Opal argued

"she has a point" Bolin said

"5 bucks on Korra" Asami said

"You're on" Mako smirked

The 2 continued running, Iroh was panting and couldn't feel his legs 'I won't let this girl defeat me... not again' he thought then looked up at Korra, she was calm and didn't look as tired 'what is she?' they reached lap 120 and Iroh bagan to slow down, his legs gave out, he couldn't move

"ooou that must've hurt" Bolin said cringing at Iroh fall

"looks like i made 5 buck" Asami smirked

"DON'T STOP KORRA, BEAT BY 20 MORE" Opal screamed

two students went to help Iroh out of the way as Korra continued, until she finally gave up at 154, everyone in the gym cheered. She was the first person to ever beat Iroh's number

"THAT WAS AMAZING" Opal continued "I knew you could do it" Opal patted korra on the back

heading into the locker room, all the girls stared as Korra changed, having her body in a layer of sweat. Once Korra finished she told Asami she'll wait outside the locker room because she felt uncomfortable and walked out.

"so is the new girl into girls?" one of the girls came up to Asami

"oh um... why are you asking me?" Asami asked with an eyebrow raised

"well she's more closer to you" the girl argued

"well she is" Asami confessed but she looked upset 'this bitch better not try anything'

Their conversation was interupted by kids outside cheering "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT"
Opal and Asami looked at eachother and finshed changing to see what was going on. They made it back to the gym and saw two students fighting it was Iroh and someone else.

"KORRA!!" Asami shouted as see saw them fightng

Yakone came in running to stop the fight but by the time he got there Iroh was on the floor with blood on his face from a bloody noise and was curled up in a ball as Korra walked away without a scratch, she walked passed all the students and passed Asami, she gave Asami a side eye as she walked passed her.

"what happened" Yakone asked Iroh

"that bitch just came at me like nothing" Iroh defended himself

"BULLSHIT!!!" Mako said in anger

"YEA!!! you attacked her, we all saw it" Bolin covered

"YEA!!!" all the students agreed

Yakone took Iroh to the office and told the lady at the desk to send a security guard to look for Korra.

"KORRA WATERS PLEASE COME TO THE MAIN OFFICE" the lady said through the intercom

Asami decided to wait for Korra in the main office. Korra came into the office without looking at Asami. Asami walked up to her and Korra looked down to avoid eye contact, 'why is she acting like this' Asami thought

"Korra please step into my office" the principle said as Iroh left her office heading to the lady behind the desk to call home.

Korra walked in and didn't saw a word.

"Korra I why you're here, Chief Beifong told me everything I needed to know, so I'll believe you're story than Iroh's if I'm being honest.... Was this an act of protecting Asami?" the priciple asked

"Suyin....Ms. Beifong" Korra corrected herself "this wasn't they first fight I had with him... they first fight was indeed a act of my job, protecting Asami from harm, this second one was different, he had his reasons to attack me" Korra confessed

"do you know the reasons?" Suyin asked

"I believe it was an act of jealousy, and I think he was still mad from before" Korra said professionally

"I see... very well, I sent Iroh home so you don't need to worry about him for the rest of the day" Suyin said and continued "Also, try not to get into fights all the time, it's barely your first day"

"yes ma'am" Korra said and with that left her office.

The rest of the school day Korra didn't say a word. Asami was worried about her.

Asami and Korra got into the car and started to drive home. Korra couldn't stop thinking about what happened with Asami and Iroh, 'I won't let anything happen to you, I promise, I'll never leave your side' Korra thought. the rest of the car ride was silent. Once they got home, Asami took a shower and finished her homework after. When she finished her work she went to look for Korra.

Korra was in her room in the middle of doing her homework, but she was distracted with the same thought as before. A knock took her out of her thoughts "come in" she said not moving from her desk. Asami walked in.

"Hey, just wanted to check in" Asami said

"oh hey, I'm just finish up some work before bed" Korra gave her a smile

Asami walked up to Korra and took a look at her school work, Korra watched as Asami hovered over her, her hair long black hair was all on one side leaving her neck exposed to Korra.

"do you need help?" Asami asked and looked down at korra, locking eyes

"I- uh" Korra cleared her throut and looked down at her paper "I fine, it's not a requirement, my grades aren't real, this is all a cover... I just don't have anything a else to do" Korra chuckled and looked back up at the raven haired girl

"lucky you" Asami said in a soft tone

They stayed silent looking into eachothers eyes. Korra was lost in Asami's green eyes 'why am I attached to you'
