Vampire Hunt
Shadow wrapped night,
No one else to be found.
Moonlight dances upon
The unhallowed ground
Shivering with cold
Laced with a sprinkle of fear;
She walkes on homeward.
Beware of the danger that's near.
Silence,
Not a sound to be heard.
He descends from the air,
A wingless human bird.
Not a scream,
But a stunned silence takes place.
She gazes upon his pale
Lustrous face.
Sleek and slim
Liquidity to his limbs.
She takes a step towards him;
Heeding all whims.
His breath hot on her lips;
She gazes deep in his eyes.
They remind her of the sun:
Black, in a cold dead sky.
Wrapping his arms about her,
Placing a passionate kiss.
She becomes engrossed in the moment,
The euphoria of the bliss.
Stealing his way down,
To her neck he proceeds
A moment of pain
As he continually feeds.
Elsewhere he becomes,
In a bending of shadows.
Left behind is her corpse,
A shell left shallow.
Shadow wrapped night,
No one to be found,
Moonlight dances upon,
The bloodstained crimson ground.
