The dark lords hand came across Jaxon's face

"My dear boy...protecting this piece of scum?" He chuckled

Jaxon looked back at me wiping blood from his mouth

"Yes father...I love her. And you will NOT call her that again!" He shouted

The dark lord stood in surprise

"Well I raised a wuss didn't I?" He scoffed and went out the door

"I'm sorry" Jaxon bent down and helped me up

"It's okay...I love you...you better go" I kissed him

"I love you too" he smiled then left

Draco's pov

A few days before the ball:

We woke up and mum made breakfast

Everyone was back here staying until the ball

I wouldn't go as far as saying I enjoy their company...but it feels better with them all here

"Draco send out the invitations will you dear?" Mum asked

"Yeah sure mum" I got up from the table

"I can help...if you don't care draco?" Ginny asked

"Uh..sure I guess" I turned around and walked towards the owl room

We had a few owls..we usually sent out a good amount of letters

Ginny and I both walked in

"What do you need me to do?" She smiled

Bloody gryffindors...why are they so happy? Makes me sick sometimes

"Just help me tie the invitations together" I told her

We started tying the Invitations on for about an hour

"Do you think she'll remember us draco?" Ginnys voice sounded shaky like she was about to cry

I wasn't sure what to say...do I comfort her? Do I just stand here?

"Uh...yeah.." I stuttered

I'm such an awkward person...

She started to cry harder

I felt like panicking...she became like a little sister to me these past few months.

Something inside me hurt to see her crying

Before I knew it I had her wrapped in my arms

"We'll figure this out Ginny...She'll be okay" I rubbed her back as she cried on my shoulder

I've never been the one to comfort someone...Olivia taught me how to care for others besides myself

"Promise you'll bring her back no matter what!" Ginny looked up at me with tears falling down her face
