There it was again! The shimmering evanescence membrane gave alittle when my hand pressed against the center as if beckoning my hand to go through. The veil only appearing when I was at my peak sullenness. Leaning away from thepurple-bluish film, which covered the hole where a window once was placed. I neverthought I would have something of value in the hole in the ground I called home, asodden hut made of cobblestone and mud, once habitable until the Frooge took overCapitalla. They focused on restoring the city's center, leaving the poor and defenseless tofend for themselves in the outskirts.

So here I lie, my back against the muddy wall, ridden with Moonwing Beetles, looking at the one thing of potential value within my home. I wonder in awe at howmuch Durma they would give me for it and if it's even able to be cut from the windowhole. The film shimmered and reflected a ghostly glow across the whole of my room, thanks to the full moon shining through it. I wish things would have gone differently. This oddity could have been a prized possession and not a plea for some nourishingsubstance.

I believe it to be some sort of miracle that it appeared here, was it the moon wingbeetles or maybe the web of a Silkfrum Moth? Either would be beneficial in trading forfood or clean water. It is a surreal object, which may be a starvation-inducedhallucination. I roll over to reach across the table for my last piece of molded bread. If this oddity is still here when I wake, as sleep staves off the hunger pains. I will find theenergy to walk down the pass and see what I can get at the docks for it.

My dreams are riddled with hues of blue and purple, then to the brass colors ofDurma. Then nothing, just pure black nothingness. I wake with a start, the sun peekingthrough the thick smoke polluted skies. Shining through my hole in the wall, where thewondrous membrane once stood. I just knew it too good to be true, a trick of an ailingmind. Maybe it will appear again. Hopefully, I will not be too far gone to trade it nexttime.
