[This is a love story about a ghost of a 12-year-old boy, Aaron Stones, and 14 year old Lucas Ashwell. Introductions will not be made, I'm sorry]
[Lucas sighed.] "Yet another sleepless night." he said.
It was the first day of 8th grade. Lucas knew he'd be listening to music the whole day, because he hasn't slept for 3 days straight, and music keeps him awake. When he walked outside at 7:30, he saw something odd:
A ghost of a boy who was a year younger than Lucas.
"Hi..?" Lucas said while staring at the boy.
"Hello-!" said the boy, sounding kind of scared.
"What are you doing here-?"
"M-my parents wanted me to haunt you, or well- protect you, actually- they said I needed to do this."
"Are other people going to see you?"
"I can look alive, but I'm usually invisible in situations like this. So the answer is yeh."
"What's your name, anyway?"
"My name's Aaron! Aaron Stones. I died from murder. My ex-boyfriend stabbed me in the back after I broke up with him. The reason was that I never kissed him. Weird thing, I know."
"That's... yeeeah it's weird. I'm pretty sure you know my name-?"
"Lucas, wasn't it?"
"Correct. Just call me Luke-"
"Not going to lie you kinda look cute-"
"What?"
"YOU HEARD NOTHING!!"
Lucas covered his ears with his hands.
How can a ghost make such a loud noise, Lucas thought to himself.
"You didn't have to shout."
"Sorry-!"
"It's alright."
Aaron muttered something again, but Luke just silently started walking, Aaron floating beside him.
When Luke and Aaron got to Luke's school, Aaron went invisible, and Luke turned into his usual silent self. Luke's 2 friends, Ava Smith and Mia Blackstone showed up quite quickly after Luke sat down against the school wall.
Mia was a dark-haired transgender girl, one of the popular kids in school.
Ava was an emerald-eyed brown-hair, Mia calls her "Brownie" 99% of the time.
Aaron was speaking to Luke through his mind, he was clearly curious about Mia and Ava.
"Who are those?" Aaron asked.
"Those are my childhood friends, Ava and Mia."
Aaron was silent and watched the three chat for the rest of the time they were outside.
After school, Aaron became visible right behind Luke when he (Luke) was talking to Mia and Ava. Luke was just talking about their future lives when Aaron poked him in the neck.
"Aaah-!"
Aaron flew through Luke to show himself to the girls. Mia hid behind Ava while Luke was holding his hands on his head. (FYI: If a ghost passes through you, the body part which they went through will either be painful or be cold as heck for a few minutes. Or if they went through your whole body, you will get a painful headache for about 10 minutes or so)
"Who are you and why are you with us?" Ava asked calmly as if Aaron was just a new person who walked into them.
"I'm Aaron Stones, and I'm dead. I just want to know your sexualities."
"Why do you need to know?" (Ava)
Aaron didn't say anything.
"Well?" (Ava)
"..." (Aaron)
"Answer her!" Mia said commandingly.
"I-"
Aaron had trouble finishing his sentence. He went invisible after 10 seconds.
"What the actual hell Aaron!?" Luke said.
"You know him?" Mia exclaimed.
"He was waiting for me in the morning."
"How?! I can't just ask him! He's gone!"
"I'll explain another time."
Mia and Ava looked at each other but when they turned to look at Luke again he was gone.
[at Luke's home...]
"Come out.." (Luke)
"No." (Aaron)
"Aaron, come on-" (Luke)
"You can't make me." (Aaron)
[Luke sighed and started walking towards his computer.]
"Luke, what are you doing?"
"Luke?"
Luke sat on his gamer chair and started googling stuff about ghosts. Aaron couldn't see well so he went closer, and immediately screeched.
Luke had googled some stuff he was definitely NOT supposed to google-
"LUKE!"
"Sorry, Aaron-"
Aaron was speechless, but Luke was just laughing his ass off.
"Luke please delete that-" Aaron exclaimed.
Aaron went invisible when Luke calmed down.
At midnight, Luke was still awake. He was reading a book about dragons. Aaron was doing flips when Luke found a cool thing hidden in the book: A small spell written in the corner of one of the pages.
"What does it say?"
"It says 'To bring someone alive, you must venture to the ocean, and stay there for a decade. (aka be an idiot).' Strange."
"YOU FOUND IT!" Aaron screamed and twirled in the air.
Luke stared at Aaron for a moment, then realized what he was doing, blushed and looked away.
"Aaron- [sigh] where is this ocean..?"
"It's right on the outskirts of the woods!
"I'm going to sleep, I'll deal with this tomorrow."
Luke yawned and fell asleep.
