It is 6:00 in the morning. My alarm goes off, as usual. I try to snooze it off but I should really get up. As I wake up, I stand up and I get my bag for the shower. I've gotten used to the morning routines in college so it is not so bad.
As I walk to the bathroom, I see Molly passing by.
Molly is my best friend and we have known each other since freshman year.
"Tessa!! Hey girl!" she says and then hugs me. "Hey! Did you hear about what happened last night at the library?" I say, curiously. "Yes! Two drunk kids tearing apart the books... I feel bad for them. Imagine if we were in their position? My mom would go fucking insane if I where to do that.. that's why I need you by my side to protect me if I do end up in that situation!" We both laugh. "I know! Well I'll meet you back at the dorm? I got to shower and get ready for class." I say quickly. "Yep! Don't forget we are going to that party tonight! After work obviously." She rolls her eyes because I always make fun of her for always putting parties in front of our jobs.
Once I get to the bathroom, I turn on the shower and let it get warmer. I step in and the warm water hits my cold arms. As I take my shower, I think about my day and what I need to accomplish. Work, school, and this stupid but also kind of fun party I have to attend tonight. I wonder who will be there...
