"Y/N WE NEED YOUR HELP AT WORK, SOMEONE WALKED OUT AND YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN HELP US"
I sighed heavily knowing that I'll would have one day off this week "yea I guess, give me a few and I'll be there"
My name is Y/N L/N, I'm 22 years old, with h/l that is h/c, my eyes are e/c, and my quirk is raven, my wings are jet black, and yes.... I am an omega....my parents thinks I should try out for stealth in the hero agency, but I don't see what the point is. Oh, and my job right now is working for a chicken fast food restaurant name speedy chicken. I am the head cook there.
I went into my room, searching for my work clothes, I quickly got dressed while walking towards my balcony. I slid open the door, closing it behind me. I spread out my wings and flew to work as fast as I can. As I spotted the building, I dive down, but pulled back flapping my wings before landing softly.
"Ok I'm here" while placing my hat on as I tuck my wings in
"Oh, thank god Y/N, you're a life saver" Sara hugged me tight
"Where do you need me to be?" dusting flour off my shirt
"I need you to be the cook tonight" as Sara plead
"alright" placing the gloves on
As I continue to flour, battered, and floured some more on chicken, my ears perked hearing Sara call out
"Y/N we need 20 legs down please"
"20??!!!!" who in the hell does one person need twenty legs??????!!!!!! Ugh fine! Coming right up" as I grabbed twenty legs as I did the same to them as the others.
I placed them in the fryer, hit the timer, and walked away to get something to drink. I brought one of my wings forward to dust some flour off them till I saw something red at the side of my vision. "Hm? Wonder what that was." While taking a sip from my drink.
I walked back to the fryers stirring the legs, so they do not stick. I looked up front of the lobby and saw a costumer waiting, I called out "Sara Counter!" while reaching up to push the button of the annoying timer. I took the basket and scoop the legs up, so they don't burn
Hawks P.O.V
I was flying through the city, looking about since I was done with my patrol for the night. I wanted to go straight home but my stomach says otherwise. Damn appetite for an alpha
I groaned annoyed because I was starving it was a good thing, I ordered my twenty fried legs at my favorite place. As I flew, I saw my favorite fast-food restaurant, the speedy chicken. I have always loved their fried legs. not sure why I do, but they are super delicious. I flew down landing softly while tucking in my signature crimson wings. Everybody here tried to give me free chicken since I am the #2 pro hero, but I declined that. I like paying for my chicken, helps with the business here. I opened the door and walked towards the counter waiting for one of their employees to come so I can pick up my order, till I heard one of them said "Sara Counter" I glanced down a bit seeing they're cook, her wings were jet black like the night sky, her h/c was gorgeous, and those e/c of hers was hepatizing. Like they were calling for me.
"Oh, hey hawks are you here for your order?" the cute little omega smiled
I looked down at her and grinned "you know it! Ya'll chicken is to die for. Makes me wonder who make them like this all the time
The omega giggled "that would be Y/N she's our head cook, she makes the mouthwatering fried chicken in this town"
"Is that so? Well then compliments to the chef" I gave out my signature smile grabbing the bucket of fried leg's while turning on my heels to leave
Y/N P.O.V
As I called Sara out to the front, I didn't realize that the #2 pro hero hawks were here at this building, was he the one that kept ordering enormous amounts of legs? And isn't that cannibalism? Because you know? He is a bird. I waited till he left then I went around to the front and asked Sara if he was the one that order the twenty legs' before
"Yep, he's the one that orders those 20 legs' every time, oh I almost forgot isn't next week your heat starts?" she turned to look at me
I froze, forgetting about next week "fuck I forgot that was coming, I better get things ready for it, is there anybody that will cook that whole week?"
"Hmm...I think so, you only get these once a month, right? How come you do not find you an alpha y/n? I heard hawks is single these days"
"No Sara....I don't need an alpha....I'm fine doing things on my own like this...I need to prove this world that omegas like myself can do without an alpha breathing down our necks" as I puff out my feathers
She smiles softly "y/n one day you'll have to give up on that. You know, that right?"
"I know, I know. I do want a family and a mate...but right now.... I cannot rely on an alpha. You know the reason..." I started hugging myself
Sara placed her hands on my shoulders with concern in her eyes then gently hugged me "well, let us get this shift over with and I'll pay for dinner. How about pizza?"
I nod a bit as I walk towards the kitchen.
A few hours later I cleaned up the flour, turned off the fryers, and check everything for the next day.
"Alright Sara everything is set; I'm clocking out I'll be waiting outside for you" placing my finger against the scanner to clock out then walked outside to wait for Sara to be done counting
"Ok y/n won't be long"
I pushed the door opened, spreading my wings wide as I stretched them "finally I can stretch" I turned slightly hearing the door closed and locked
"You ready y/n?" as Sara placed the keys in her bag
"Yep, since you're the one that offered pizza" I smirked placing my hands behind my head as we walked down the street
we got to the pizza place, ordered our pizza, and made it to my apartment. We started laughing while eating pizza then I placed my slice down "hey Sara, you know hawks, right? What is he like?"
"Hmm...I know he's a pro hero, and he is single, I know he's an alpha but outside of work place I'm not sure" as she placed her index and thumb under her chin
"I see..." looking down at my pizza picking off bits and pieces
We finished the pizza I waved Sara goodbye as I closed the door
I went and grabbed the empty pizza box placed it in the trash can, I opened the fridge and then the cupboards "I'll go to the store in the morning" I looked over at the time then head to bed
