Monday 5:00 am
Your alarm is going off but you don't want to get up. Why do you have to wake up.
All of a sudden you hear light and calm footsteps coming towards my room
"Y/n, wake up already!" Your mother begged lightly shaking your shoulders. "Kiyoko is waiting at the door!"
Ah Kiyoko, you met her before you moved to America and now that you're back, you can finally see her again.
She was one of your closest friends and probably your only friend.
"I'm up, I'm up! Let me just get ready" You sit up slowly rubbing your eyes. "Tell her I'll be 15 minutes"
Your mom walks out closing the door behind her and you jump out from bed to grab your uniform. You had left to go to america for 2 years for your dad's job, but now you're back starting your first year at highschool.
You head towards the bathroom to have a shower.
-5 Minutes later-
After getting out and getting dressed into the school uniform you quickly brush your h/c hair and brush your teeth knowing.
Grabbing your bag you head down stairs and see Kiyoko and your mother having a conversation at the table.
"Kiyoko!!" You run up and hug the poor girl almost suffocating her "it's been so long I missed you so so much!"
Letting go to grab your bento and put it in your bag.
"I've missed you too, it's been a very long time" Kiyoko giggled. You turn and sit at the table infront of Kiyoko and smile.
Kiyoko and you have a small chat when she looks at your mom and nods.
"Oh so y/n, how do you feel about becoming one of the managers of the volleyball team? I'll be leaving next year and those boys need a manager" Kiyoko announced.
"Eh, manager of a boys volleyball team?" You look at your mother who is smiling at you then back to Kiyoko hoping for you to say yes.
"Yes! I could really use the help and no one else wants to join and your mom thinks it'll be a good idea for you to join" Kiyoko almost begs.
"Ehm, I guess. I mean i have nothing else to do so yeah!" You answer smiling wide. Kiyoko's face lights up and she grabs her bag.
"Good cause morning practice is today! So let's go and I can introduce you to the team!"
You and Kiyoko stand up and head off to school.

As you get closer to the school gym you can hear shouting and the squeaking of shoes and the thud of the ball being hit.
Kiyoko opens the door with you just behind her when 2 boys come running up to her screaming
"KIYOKO OUR GODESS HAS ARRIVED!" The bald one shouts running straight to her.
They stop running when a boy with grey hair and a beauty mark grabs their shirts and pull them back.
Kiyoko just nods "I have someone who's interested in becoming a second manager" She whispers to the boy as he turns to you and smiles showing all his pearly teeth.
He turns around to the captain and says something to him and the captain nods.
"Boys line up!" The captain commands. The boys come rushing in front of Kiyoko, the captain, and the boy from before, with you still hiding behind Kiyoko. He turns to Kiyoko and nods.
"I have someone who wants to help manage the team with me" She steps aside revealing you to the team and you're left in confusion of what to do.
"I- u-uh, I'm l/n y/n, n-nice to meet you!" You mentally slap yourself for that one.
The boys smile and greet you,
except for one very tall one at the back, a blonde with glasses who doesn't seem to show any emotion.
You turn back to Kiyoko and she just smiles. The boys go back to training and you and Kiyoko go sit down and have a chat about your time in America.
Practice ends and the goddess Kiyoko walks you to your class.
1-4, your new class. Your friend smiles and waves leaving you to the teacher.
"Ah here she is! Class this is our new student, L/n Y/n!" The teacher waves you inside to introduce yourself.
"U-uh hello, n-nice to meet you" Jeez you sound like a idiot. You nervously chuckle.
"You can sit in front of Tsukishima over there." He points to the blonde from practice. You walk over as the teacher begins the lesson again.
"Hi! I'm Yamaguchi Tadashi!" A whisper from a boy with green hair and freckles. He smiles and waves to you. You smile back at him then turn to the teacher.

The bell goes after a long lesson and you start packing up your stuff when the green haired boy taps you on the shoulder.
"Would you like to sit with me and Tsukishima?" He points to his blonde friend while blondy just shoots him a glare.
"Ah I don't want to be a burden to you guys!" You nervously chuckle putting your book in your bag.
"You heard the shortie, now let's go." The blonde smirks patting Yamaguchi on the back. You're shocked, this string bean just called you a shortie!
"Why you litt- Yamaguchi I'll sit with you guys!" You agree grabbing your bag rushing to the green hairs side.
The blonde just has a disgusted look on his face while Yamaguchi smiles.
"Alright let's go then!"
Sitting down with them on the rooftop, eating food you start a conversation with Yams.
"So, why's he so salty?" You point to the blonde you just looks at you with a disgusted face.
"Eh? Tsukki? He's not that bad, he can be really nice at times! Like he's a huge softie fo-" The blonde covers Yamaguchi's mouth and glares at him.
"A softie for what eh?" You shovel a onigiri in your mouth as the green haired boy moves Tsukishima's hand away.
"Don't say it Yamaguchi!" The string bean death glares the boy.
"Dinosaurs." Yamaguchi points to the mini dino sticker on string beans bento.
With that you burst out laughing.
"THIS SALTY STRING BEAN IS A SOFTIE FOR DINOSAURS AHAHA!! HOW CUTE!" The blonde glares at you while you hold your stomach.
You look at the blonde and he's looking away with his face and ears bright red.
"S-shut up!" He mumbles.

After a lovely lunch with you teasing the boy you go back to class, when the finally comes to a end. The boys have practice but it goes by super fast when you're walking back home.
Kiyoko goes off a different path so you're walking by yourself.
It's getting pretty dark and you're getting kind of scared.
"Ah what's a shortie like you walking out here all by yourself?" You know that voice-
"Eh Tsukki?" Turning around you can see his smirk and he just pats your head messing up your hair.
"I'm guessing you live up this way?" He points ahead to your street just a few houses down.
You nod and he starts walking.
"Ca-Can i walk with you?" You run up to his side. He just looks down at you and chuckles.
"Sure shortie" He flicks your forehead.
"Ouch, jeez you string bean!!" You rub your head and just walk back home with him. It was silent but a comfortable silence.
After a while you get to your house.
"Ah I'm here. See you tomorrow string bean!" You walk up to your door.
"Cya shortie" The blonde mumbles as he continues to walk down the street.
