"So today's unit is about how to ask questions in Korean. We will start with the basic sentence structure and try to form our own questions later on. Okay with that?" Lucas asked while taking his IPad out. "Sure, let's start."
Lucas and you always met up Saturday night after practice to study Korean in a small break room. You both come from different countries and therefore aren't Koreans but you definitely had a harder time than Lucas to learn the language. Even though he's still in the process of learning himself he offered you to study together. You were more than grateful to have such a helpful study buddy. He even made studying somehow enjoyable.
After going over the basic sentence structure, Lucas and you tried to write down five questions by yourselves. You then read them out to each other. However, you had a little trouble with understanding his last one.

"너 나 좋아해?" (translated:Do you like me?) Lucas repeated slowly and emphasised, coming closer to your face.
"Ahem, " you moved a little backwards, surprised by him coming suddenly so close.
"Ah, I think I got it now haha"
"Then answer it probably," he smirked at you, once again coming closer. At this point, a lot of questions were going through your mind and you somehow felt out of words.

"How should I react? Should I play it cool? Is he being serious?"

"Y/N, I'm waiting," he put his arm on the table, tilting his head.
"Yeahhhhh.. I gueeess," you replied in a weird tone feeling embarrassed.
"Good to know. Well, let's move on to the next task," Lucas moved back to his place, smiling like an idiot.
You sat there with a confused expression, questioning yourself if he really was going to pretend as if that was totally normal.
"Well.. are you down to grab something to eat after we're finished? It's my treat," he pretended to write something down, not facing you. You hesitated for a second but then answered, "I'm down for it."
You smiled to yourself, excited for your first late night date.
