“Liar…” Hindachi muttered, causing Oikawa to yell at him in response.
“Onion head!” Oikawa responded, leaving the locker room to start practice.

Perspective Change: Y/N
Y/N once again, sat on the other side of the rooftop with their friend, and saw Oikawa placing down the mostly full pan on the air conditioning unit. Kowai ran over to the pan, picking it up again and bringing it over. Kowai placed it down on Y/N’s lap.
“Here’s your pan. Enjoy, I have to get to drama club now, see you later,” the girl said walking away, she stopped however before she got to the door, “I’m not going to do this again for you, I have to go to drama club early to set up practice for our performance in the end of spring festival. This is a total waste of my time, if the fan girls find out and try anything, I’ll do anything to stop them, and I don’t care if I get suspended.”
Y/N was worried for a second before hearing the last part, which made them relieved, and they nodded in return. Kowai turned and left, leaving Y/N alone on the rooftop. They glanced at the pan with the note, noticing it was the same card paper they had used. They turned over the notecard, revealing the critique on the back of it. They were fairly certain that the boy was too caught up in volleyball to pay much attention to them.
‘Dear Anonymous, thank you for the milk bread today, but like you had written on your note, it was worse than the first one, the taste was too dull and it was overbaked, try adding ¾ the amount of sugar, and adding 3 minutes to your original bake time. Have fun baking,
Regards,
Oikawa Tooru'
A small smile formed across Y/N’s face, they put the note in their bag and kept it in mind for the baking process, they took their bag and baking pan, escaping it for another day of baking for their crush, Oikawa Tooru.

A week later…
Oikawa had been getting a pan of milk bread every day for a week, and it was gradually getting better and better, to the point that he couldn’t give anymore improvements to add, and he was getting extremely curious at who this anonymous milk bread donator, so he went to the roof, put the pan up there with the note, and heading to a door on the roof and closing it behind him and waiting. He wrote on the to look up when he wrote the note.
He heard shuffling coming from the outside door, hearing the pan click. He opened the door cautiously, seeing one of his old childhood friends, F/N L/N, scurrying away towards a bench on the other side of the rooftop, unfolding the note and reading it.

‘Dear Anonymous, your milk bread is absolutely delicious, I have nothing for you to improve, you did great. I just think that you should write the recipe down for me and stuff, if you were using a family one, because it’s the best I’ve ever tasted. Anyways can you look up at the air conditioning vent? I’d like to see your pretty face~
See you in a few seconds,
Oikawa Tooru’
Y/N froze, slowly looking up to see Oikawa Tooru leaning against the air conditioning vent, in all his precious glory. He had a cheeky grin plastering his face, he sent a wink and a salute. Y/N immediately covered their face in embarrassment. Damn, Oikawa Tooru just tricked them, and they thought they hadn’t been too obvious…. If only their friend had stayed for that day. They swore he had practice today.
“Yahoo! F/N-Chan!~” Oikawa yelled at the person, waving towards the person on the other side of the rooftop. They tried to pack up they’re things quickly, thinking he’d leave them alone if they walked away. Oikawa ran over to the person, holding onto his bag on his shoulder.
“F/N-Chan! You’re the one who has been baking that milk bread for me, you’re so sweet! We haven’t talked in a while! How are you cutiepie?” Oikawa started to flirt, making a slight blush pop up on the recipient's face.
“Uh… Yeah… it’s been a while….” they quietly murmured, trying to walk faster, as people who hung around after school were noticing Oikawa walking with them, but he just sped up to their pace.
“Sooo? How are you doing F/N?” he inquired, trying small talk with the old childhood friend of his.
“I-I’m fine O-Oikawa…” they barely responded over a speaking voice, “D-Don’t you have practice today?”
“Nope! We never have practice on mondays, so I can walk you home today!”
Oikawa continued talking to Y/N, following them and walking them home, them getting more and more open with the boy as he walked them home. Soon enough, they had taken Oikawa’s phone number and put it in their phone, granted it was a very shy exchange.
“I’ll see you tomorrow morning F/N,” he waved at Y/N, the person only being caught off guard by the blunt comment. Y/N nodded shyly and waved at the boy, heart pounding in their chest. Oikawa walked home in peace, knowing that this person was going to be his in the future, he just had to win their heart, too bad he didn’t know he already won their heart ages ago.
