It was finally lunch. I was so hungry I could possibly eat a horse! I was standing in line alone. It was Tuesday so David and I didn't have lunch at the same time. I didn't really have any other friends.

While I was in my oh so deep thoughts I felt something poke me on my shoulder. I turned around and... Holy mother of waffles! Nic was standing there, looking as good as before, if not even better. This was the first time I actually saw the color of her eyes and I drowned in the unique mix between brown and green. I had never seen eyes that beautiful.

"Hey" she said softly. "You're in my mathclass right?"

"Uhm... Y-Yeah" Darn it! I studdered! She must be feeling really uncomfortable.

"Okay, look. I need to pass math or I'm gonna have to repeat a year, so I need a tutor. Wanna help?" she said confidentaly.

"You w-want me to t-t-tutor you?" I said blushing. I was smart but there were people who were even smarter than me.

"Why else would I tell you this?" she said with a smirk, probably noticing my red cheeks.

"Uhm... I-I.."

"Great, I'll come to your place at 6" she said and then walked away. Her walk was like a supermodelwalk. Wait... She's coming to my place?

MY PLACE?!?!

Does she even know where I live? I thought about that conversation for the rest of my lunch break.

It was 5:45 and I was all done cleaning up my house. My parents were in Boston visiting family and wouldn't be back for another week. I was just waiting in the livingroom watching the walking dead.

"BOOH!" I jumped up and turned around. Nic was standing there, laughing like she would never laugh again and looking as gorgeous as ever. "Dude, that was the cutest thing I've ever seen!" I started blushing. Did she just say that I was cute? Is that even a compliment?

She finally collected herself and looked at me with a twinkle in her eyes. "What are you watching?" she said looking at the screen.

"Uhh... The walking dead"

"No studdering this time, you're improving young one!" she said with a cocky smirk.

"I-I... Damnit!" I studdered again. Really?! I just keep embarrassing myself.

She giggled and walked over to the kitchen. She gave me a look and then opened the fridge.

"W-we can order pizza if y-you're hungry" I said, or almost whispered.

"But I wanna see your cooking skills! Make me something!"

I was an okay cook, so I didn't mind. But I was really nervous so something would probably go wrong. Besides, weren't we supposed to do math?

"I-I thought that w-we were g-gonna work?" I seriously need to calm myself.

"Do you really think that I need help? Please, I'm not fucking stupid."

Wait... Wait wait wait wait... Did she lie just so she could come to my place? No, there was probably nothing going on. But I still was very curious.

"Why did you come then?" Finally no studder.

"I don't know, it just felt right. You see, I'm one of those people who do what feels right, no matter how dumb it is. And lying to get there is not a problem" she said still smirking. Does that hypnotizing smirk ever go away?

We stood in silence for a while. I was just looking at her and she was looking back at me. She truly was a free spirit, something I've always wanted to be. I never had the guts though.

"So, are you gonna cook or nah?" she said swiftly, breaking our gaze.
