Chapter 9

"Quiet? How? Roars of bear and dragon!" He runs away, the girl sighing

"Lu Jia, you need to stop using tricks all the time, you become more exhausted because of that. That was visible during the match with Yu Feng." Yan says, the girl looking away "And if you only use strategies from other players, your opponents will be able to win."

"I won't use my own tricks unless it is necessary." She says right away "I only used that one because I needed to end the match. And about the tricks, I'll use them if I deem it necessary."

"They aren't necessary during the entire match." Yan says sighing

 Lu Xia puts a hand on her back when he noticed she was getting angry "Yan, I don't think you are one to talk about how to win a match, when you couldn't wi-" Lu Xia puts his other hand on her mouth stopping her

"Calm down." Lu Xia mumbles to her as Yan fixes his glasses

"That's all I wanted to say."

TIME SKIP

The twins were doing their own thing, Lu Xia sleeping while Lu Jia scrolled on her phone hearing some music when Siyang came inside the classroom. The girl looks up from her phone and gives him a small smile, the boy doing the same.

"Lu Xia." Lu Jia takes off one of her earphones to hear what he wanted to say

"What's up?"

"I'll wait for you at the indoor court at 3:00 PM, three days from now." Siyang throws the ball at Lu Xia before leaving, after a moment, Lu Jia gets up and goes out seeing Dayong 

"What way did Siyang go?" She asks smiling

"That way." He points and she nods 

"Thank you." She runs off leaving him confused

"SIYANG!" She screams seeing him, the boy turning around confused "Thank God I found you so quickly!" She says when she gets to him

"What do you need?"

"We need to talk." 

"What about?"

"Something. Do you know somewhere private?" He nods before walking away, the girl following him

TIME SKIP

Lu Jia knocks on her brother's door and enters after hearing a 'Come in' from him, she smiles seeing him pet their cat. She closes the door before sitting on his bed, the cat walking to her, the girl petting it.

"So, about the match." She starts and he looks at her confused "How do you think you will win?"

"Playing well."

"Actually, let me ask again, this time with the correct words. Do you think you'll win?" She picks the cat smiling

"I'm not sure. What do you think?"

"It all depends, but honestly, I think you'll lose. You will have a good match, if that serves of any type of consolation." She ruffles his hair

"You're terrible." He says before starting to tickle her as revenge

TIME SKIP

Lu Jia sees Dayong and Siyang when she was walking to the courts, smiling, she almost walks inside but stops hearing Siyang's voice "I can do basic training now. And-" She hides not wanting them to see her

"You heard the doctor, and yet, you still want to play against him?" Doctor? What was Dayong talking about? She frowns confused

"Yes. He said my rehabilitation is going well. So, there won't be any problems."
