Teal is the color of the night

Teal is the color of the night

 I see the crescent moon's light 

Scars of my heart sewed tight 

Wondering my if's and why's in black and white

 Everything is a part of life 

Some will stay some will leave 

All my pains are written and weaved

 My sins are stained in falling leaves 

 As I hid under my blanket 

 My pillow collected my tears in palettes 

 Painted moments I'll never forget 

I wouldn't let myself be an enemy's target 

 Teal is the color of the night I wouldn't stop and fight 

 I carved my every imperfections until daylight 

My arrow is ready in flight 

 Teal is the color of the night I'll never leave my dreams out of sight 

 God will never leave me with my hopes bright 

 This is me proving my right 

 Teal is the color of the night 

 My heart is ready into flight 

 My dreams will never fade in the light

 One day I will shine bright
