Chapter 119: Too Generous

Start from the beginning

"Please come with me for a second. Please!" He pleaded with a slight bow.

Now the people around them are looking at her.

"I'll come with you but please, stop bowing down." Kazumi said as she tilt her head a little.

He then led her to a certain estate. As they enter, they were met by some servants who greeted the man. Entering the room, Kazumi saw the same old man she saved sitting on a futon wearing a plain white yukata. And what she suppose is his wife beside him wearing a cherry pink colored kimono with a darker pink colored obi.

"Father! The child who helped us is back." The man said as he sat down the tatami mat.

Kazumi knelt down as she greet him with a slight bow.

"It's nice to meet you. I'm Natsu, the current village chief and with me is my wife Misa. The man who called you here is my youngest son, Misato." The man, known as Natsu, introduced himself and his family with a smile.

"Nice to meet you chief.... I'm Kazumi." Kazumi introduced herself.
"May I know why did you ask me to come again?"

"Because we would like to thank you for saving not only me but also our village. I'm very glad someone came to help us just in time." Natsu answered.

"If it weren't for you, my reckless husband here would've died. He insisted on helping the villagers escape." His wife, Misa, said with a slight bow.

"Please don't be so formal towards me. I just did what is right. Anyone could've done that in my place." Kazumi said.

"May we know how you look like behind that mask.... if it's alright." The man who brought her there known as Misato said looking at her.

"Sorry but.... maybe next time." Kazumi replied looking at him.

"Don't be sorry it's alright!"

She soon stood up and bowed again.

"Thank you for having me in your presence village chief. I should leave now if that's all." Kazumi said facing them.

"Actually.... we have a something for you." Natsu said.

He stood up with the help of his wife as he put on a green haori. All four of them walked out as they led her to a certain place.

"This road.... don't tell me...." Kyojuro muttered out as they recognized the road they're taking.

As they reach the place, they saw a short staircase leading to a gate. As they walk up and enter the gate, they were met by an estate with a beautiful garden.

"It really is!" Kyojuro exclaimed.

The estate they were looking at now, is the same estate known as the Frost Estate.

"Is there someone you would like me to meet here Natsu-sama?" Kazumi asked looking around.

"Natsu's fine. And no, you are not to meet someone here." Natsu answered.

"We had a talk with the village people the morning after you left. My husband here who is very talkative told them about you and asked them to decide for a gift." Misa said as she look at her husband.

"We all decided to give this estate to you! This has been abandoned for years so we all decided to ask some villagers to help us clean this up and fix it. We also placed some furnitures inside and extended it a little more to be wider and bigger." Misato added his eyes sparkling like a child.

'Please.... I just killed a demon that's all. So what's with this gift? They're too generous.'

"Sorry but.... isn't this too much? I mean.... I came late to kill the demon. And also.... I'm just a kid." Kazumi said.

"No. You saved us. Despite a lot of people being injured, none of them died. And also.... you could make this your home. We could send some servants here to accompany you." Natsu replied.

"It's also rude to reject such a gift a lot of people made and has put an effort just for you." Misato grinned.

'I'm doomed.... he just used the people for me to accept this.... mother.... help me.'

"Come inside and see it yourself!" Misa said cheerfully as if flowers just floated around the three of them.

She just sighed in defeat as she nodded.

"If I were in her place, I would've flamboyantly accepted it right on the spot." Tengen said.

"Yeah you will. As expected from a person who has a thick face like yours." Sanemi replied scratching his nape.

"Oi! You're being too rude Shinazugawa! Very unflamboyant!" Tengen glared at him.

As she walk inside and around the estate with the three, she saw the furnitures placed inside and also the clothes, bed sheets, blankets, and pillows. As if everything's in there already. She also saw a room full of medical supplies like a first aid kit, plasters, bandages, a weighing scale, and more.

"Just.... how much did everyone of you spend for all of these? They all costs a fortune." Kazumi asked as she look at a stethoscope placed inside a case in a drawer.

"Don't worry, all those were given by the villagers. And that stethoscope was from a retired doctor. None of his children were doctors so he gave it. And also that microscope." Misato answered as he point at the microscope placed in a cabinet with a glass door.

'Thanks to being inside Hikaru-san's lab every single day that I know all of these things in here.'

"To be honest, almost all the medical equipments in here are from him." Natsu said as he scratch his nape.

At the end of they're not so long of a tour, they're now standing outside. She bowed to thank them for this and even walked back at town to thank the villagers. She also personally went to the retired doctor's home and thanked him and his family. They were all happy to see her.
