Chapter 1 [The begining]pt.1

*Devin's pov*
I wake up ,from my alarm being loud
I get out of bed
And put on clothes and my red maroon hoodie , My friend Ritchie gave me for my birthday a few years back , we've known each other for years and I'm gonna be honest.. I really like him.. A lot more than a normal person should like someone..
My Brothers tell me to just give up cause Ritchie and his girlfriend look very happy together..but I can't , if i'm gonna like someone i can at least stay around to see if i can have a chance..
I grab a bagel before leaving cause Mikeal told me to stop eating donuts all the time , *so rude*
At school i sit at my desk in the corner as all my friends walk over to me , David sits at the desk in front of me and turns around,

"Hey Dev , are you free friday? , I'm having a party and i'd like to see you there , Eden's coming too so you won't be to lonely " he chuckles , and hands me a piece of paper with a address on it , I smile at him and nod accepting his invitation , i hear the classroom door open and turn to see...
" Brandon !!, here Flurry gave me a lunch for you , she said it has your favorite~.." he chuckles as he hands his brother a brown paper bag with a cute sticker on it
Ritchie!, I get excited and smile at my best friend coming over to his desk right next to David. I smile at him feeling my face get warm, possibly turning even red...
He smiles back at me , making me very very happy
He looks at me with a concerned face , opening his mouth he asks me

"Dev? Are you okay , you're all red , do you want me to ask the teacher to let you go to the nurse's office?" I look at him and just in a panicked tone I tell him "I-I'm fine! , im okay just happy to see you today"
Just then he moves his hair to the side , and that's when i realized he had dyed his hair a electric blue with a small streak of a light blue , I gasp an stand up to walk over to him ,I crouch to look at his pretty blue hair in amazement

"Y-You dyed it..It's so..so so.. pretty!I really like it Ritchie! it's such a pretty electric blue!"
I giggle and smile at him , I couldn't tell rather or not he got red at my comment or he was embarrassed by me
But either way I could tell he was happy to see me...i get up and go back to my desk , throughout the whole class..I.. I was busy looking at Ritchie..and how calm he is when he's really trying to focus on somethings.. Then from my right i hear someone whisper to me
" I think you should stop staring at my brother Devin..You know for a fact that he won't like you back,EVER, he has Flurry"

Oh..brandon..he's right..but I can't , I really like him and my heart won't stop beating for him until i know he will reject...me..

"I know Brandon.. But I don't wanna , I also..don't have to listen to you.." I look back at Ritchie now laying his head down probably cause he got tired of what he was working on , David started to look out the window to mumble to himself probably bout plant , his dog and his real plants

After a few more classes , it was time for lunch , I usually ate with Ritchie and Flurry , on the roof.. Once i got up there i saw the two talking , I came up to them and sat down , they smiled at me , flurry mostly grinned at me , but uhh..i have no clue why i just grab my food out from my bag , We talk for a while until flurry whispers to Ritchie , He's face turns red..she probably told him a pick up joke , Flurry stands up
" Bye Ritchie! , I'll see you later " she goes to my ear and whispers to me

"Don't be scared devin.."
She runs off before i could ask her what she meant but "'Don't be scared'" It doesn't matter cause i need to go too , i stand up smile at Ritchie before saying
"Good bye electric boy! " I wave as I walk off , I don't know if I could hear cause I think I heard Ritchie say something back..
