DEATH ... you have been warned.

The world had changed. Not that much but a bit. Enough to call it a new era. The last of the dragons passed away and now the witches were the ruling class. The most respected and envied of them where the ones with interdimemtional and base elements (earth, water, life, death, air, storm, fire, ice, light, and dark) powers. One couple Wyatt and Leslie Quill had the powers of life and light, respectively. Without going into detail, they had achieved interdimemtional travel. They had moved out of there world even and started a family while away. Eventually they came back.
As I said they had a family. Two kids, an older boy and younger girl. James was the older of the two, with mocha skin, bright sea green eyes, short messy black hair, and water powers. Jessica was the younger sister with her mocha skin, viberent violet eyes, long frizzy black hair, and sadly defective fire power. They were inseparable and loved each other very much.
The night we begin they had resently moved back to their original dimension and had settled into a small house near the uninhabitable woods. That day they had just gone to get their family picture taken and James and Jessica were hanging the framed product.
"Perfect, there!" Jessica excitedly stated as her brother finished positioning the picture.
"Kids, it's story time." There mother called from the living room. The pair ran in and plopped down on the rug eager for a new story.
"Do you have another family story?" James asked. He really enjoyed the tale of the dragons from the night before.
"No, its a shorter tale the is popular back in the old dimension." Leslie aid hoping she could quickly get her kids in bed. Soon she had launched into a silly children's book she had committed to memory that she knew her kids liked.
Just as the story reached the climax there came a loud banging at the door. Wyatt who had been doing the news paper puzzles looked up and quickly went to answer the door.
"Hello how can I-" he stopped himself mid-sentence as a man with wind swept blond hair and blood red eyes held a gun with a muffler on the end pointing straight at his heart. The sudden pause from her normally chatty husband and she had her kids run. He turned activating her powers being a good mother.
The kids didn't hear it but there was a muffled bang then a hard thud and Wyatt was now dead pooling in his own blood. Leslie stood protectively in front of the stairs leading to her children. The murder took a step over the body. The Sad fact about Leslie's power was that it wasn't really ment for combats and more for healing. So she took a valient stand before quickly falling like her lover.
Though they didn't hear the gun shots they heard the bodies hitting the floor. James and Jessica from under James's bad were stifling their crys as they silently waited for the murder to leave.
Jessica had caught a good look at he killer and saved him in her mind so she at least give the police a description. But deep down she wanted revenge herself. Sadly this was it the beginning of a list
