Y/N's POV

I stop in my tracks as my heart beat rises. I don't know how to answer to be honest. This man already figured my situation out off of nothing. I've never spoken a word to anyone about this, so how he found out is completely unknown to me. My lips part, but no words leave me. I blink repeatedly, look away, and grip the objects in my grasp tightly.

"Are you alright? If you fear that I will alert the Knights of Favonious, I have no intent to do so in fact," he speaks up. Glancing over at him, he wears a comforting smile. "After all, it would serve little use to my research if anyone got in the way of any alchemy-related discoveries."

Maybe it's just his good looks that are seriously making me want to trust him. If he wasn't such a pretty guy, I may have run off rather than standing around. People naturally do whatever it takes to achieve their goals, so it's understandable of him to keep me around. However, he could very well report me the last second as a higher official of the government.

"That's...that's reasonable enough," I purse my lips slowly. "I'm going to heavily trust you on this, so...please keep your word, Albedo."

"I certainly will, we can continue this conversation later instead," he continues leading us towards the destination. The walk grows silent as it is clear that I'm not entirely comfortable with my other world secret. Instead, the sounds of snow crunching beneath our feet fills the air. Eventually, Albedo stops at a broken bridge. "This bridge," he sighs, "what a nuisance."

"I apologize in advance, but do you have any space in your backpack?"

"Uh, I believe that I do. You can check if you'd like," I turn around to give him access to my inventory.

"Thanks." I feel the motions of him carefully placing and perhaps even reorganizing objects in my backpack. He then takes the items out of my hold and continues organizing as he sees fit. "There we go, all done. Now there's no need to carry all these vials anymore."

As I turn around, I hear him say "Lift!" once again. A shiny and golden flower platform has appeared beside the edge of the bridge, that seems to be one of his abilities. I'm guessing based on his orange vision brooch and the magic-made platform, he's likely a geo user.

"How would you rate your gliding ability?"

"I've never had my gliding license suspended for the past two years that I've had it," I slightly shiver as I examine the distance, and the massive fall, to the other side. "I d-don't think that I'll have any issues."

"Good to hear. Listen carefully, once I finish gliding, step on the bottom of the platform to create another platform. Carefully and safely glide over, got it?" He instructs me and I nod in response. "Perfect, I shall go now."

He swiftly glides across. That long, white jacket of his and those wind gliders of his sort of make him look like an angel. He sure is handsome. I haven't dated anyone in how many years now, I'm simply desperate and lonely seeing how in both my lives, I still haven't found someone.

Albedo reaches the ground as he shouts back. "We're nearly at our destination, now please step on the bottom platform!"

"Coming over!" I shout through my loud breathing for warmth. I step onto the bottom platform as the one above me vanishes and I am elevated upwards. I glide on over to Albedo and we walk for a couple more minutes before we arrive in front of a cave sort of laboratory.

"This is my laboratory, please put your bags down. I will start a fire to raise your body's temperature levels," Albedo gestures over to a table. He walks towards a campfire and gets on one knee to start a fire.
