Micah and Sunset were walking down the halls to go get some breakfast and bring it back to the office they made it to the entrance of the dining hall when suddenly Micah gasped and swiftly grabbed his chest tightly where his soul was he closed his eyes trying to breath only making the pain worse thus making Micah fall to his knees and put his other hand over the one on his chest Sunset was panicking and wasn't sure what to do so he kneeled next to Micah and tried to hug the taller "Micah what's wrong?!"Sunset asked "I-I don't know....It's...my soul.."Micah tried saying while panting from out of breath and pain They both just sat there hoping no one walked by or came in until the pain stopped and eventually it did Micah just stared at floor below him thinking "Should we....take a look?"Sunset asked unsure somehow reading Micahs mind "Yea..."Micah said already knowing what happens and scared of what the damage is,Micah then pulled out his soul relieved that it was only small cracks and not Big ones While Sunset on the other hand was worried because he's seen people in village die and had to make sure they were happy before they passed because of soul cracking and knowing the cracks will only grow,"Micah...."Sunset muttered loud enough for Micah to hear Micah let out a small hum letting him know he was listening while he put his soul back "You do know....those will only get bigger....and make you weaker...right?"Sunset asked
Micah sighed and wrapped a wing around Sunset who only hugged him tighter "Yes I know Brother"Micah said unconsciously not a realizing what he said at the end Sunsets pupils turned into stars "You called me brother!!!"Sunset said happily Micahs eyes widened and blushed in embarrassment "I-I mean-"Micah tried to stammer out "Awww it's ok you can call me that brother!"Sunset said smiling and happily beaming Micah smiled and chuckled at how happy Sunset was "Ok brother now let's go get what we came down here for"Micah said getting up and smiling down at the smaller he then started walking towards the kitchen with Sunset skipping behind him What they didn't know was that a mysterious person was hiding in the shadows watching them with a smirk on his face as his plan was coming together nicely
