"Time gone go"

As we were standing there Ben came towards us "wtf happened to him?" I asked Ben "they came bust in with a search warrant n found his unlicensed gun" he said .
MY MIND:
I knew Kentrell was like this , why didn't I just leave him alone in the first place...I knew that he was known for these type things and I'm gonna have to sit through it all.....love got me messed up but I made a promise to him that I'll be here for him no matter what and I for sure can't break that promise.
"Kentrell really be doin some dumb shit,why didn't he have that gun licensed?" I asked Ben with a confused face. He shrugged and walked away .
"Girl let's go , we leaving tomorrow to go to ya aunts now all this shit wanna happen" jasmine said
As we went to leave Ben shouted "hold it down for my boy he love you & you the one"
I broke down crying because 2 days and I'm already I love with this man..love is for sure one hell of a Drug.
At home:
"Do you think he have his phone?" Jas asked "girl he in prison not at a party ,do they allow damn phones in prison?" I said spazzing .
"Bitch don't be getting mad at me cause yo man fucked up" jas said
I walked off because she the only person I have out here and I really didn't wanna ruin our friendship.
9:50pm
*phone rings
"You receive a call from an inmate at Baton Rouge correctional facility if you wish to accept dial *72 if you don't wish to, press 1."
"Hello" I said knowing this Kentrell.
"Hey Aaliyah wassup, I don't have much time so I'm letting you know now that I love you & hold it down for me" Kentrell said
"I love you more Kentrell & I know" I said immediately bursting into tears
"Now remember this is only temporary and I won't be in here forever i promise to you I'll explain everything when I get out if they don't find any cases on the gun...Time gon go & we'll be fine by time, I love you" Kentrell said with a shaking voice
"I love you more Kentrell" I replied as the phone immediately hung up.
I ran to the bathroom and bursted into tears because I didn't get the chance to tell him that I don't live in Baton Rouge and I was only visiting.
Hopefully when he calls back I get the chance to tell him.
"Hey what's wrong" jasmine came into the bathroom saying .
"Girl Kentrell just called me to tell me he love me and I didn't get the chance to tell him the truth about us being in Baton Rouge"
I said while crying
"Girl you gone be fine...when ever he calls again just let him know....hopefully he understands you"
She said while comforting me.
I got up and she gave me a hug and took me to my room to get a nap.
My mind:
I might argue with this girl hell a lot but if it wasn't for her idk what I would've been doing with my life right now..she really is the best thing that ever came into my life.
"Get some rest girl and take this off your mind ..it won't be like this forever and they can't keep him in forever over that"
Jasmine said to me while sitting on my bed.
"You right imma stop stressing about it , Good night girl". I said with a whole lot of tears in my eyes .
And she replied goodnight back with a hug.
