It was a beautiful night in Sydney. Every night in Sydney was a beautiful night. But of course tomorrow night, was the most beautiful. That being said, there was a lot to prepare for the party.

Liam had already sent out invitations, and almost everyone was able to come. No one wanted to miss this party, in fact a few people had to cancel prior events in order to make it. Liam would have plenty of friends and mutual friends at the party, as well as some other important business figures.

The only thing left to do was get some decorations and snacks from the supermarket. Liam didn't take one of his sports cars but rather one of the more common electric ones. He didn't like to be noticed most of the time but when he did he would take one of his sports cars instead. He headed into one of the bigger supermarkets in the CBD and it was rather crowded. Liam noticed the big New Year's Eve display near the front, he would grab some decorations on the way out.

He went to the frozen area and grabbed six shrimp cocktails and then found five meat, cheese, and cracker trays. He would always rather have too many snacks than too little. It showed you as a bad host if you ran out. Liam also grabbed a few bottles of red and white wine, they had plenty at his house but he wanted to grab some new ones. He decided on silver and gold decorations and grabbed a bunch of them from the display.

When Liam got home he started setting things up. He hung some decorations and put some on the tables. He took the cheese, meat, and crackers off their plastic tray they came with and arranged them on a much fancier silver platter. He did the same with the shrimp cocktails and put them in glass bowls. He then arranged a separate table with glasses for wine and different bottles people could try. His finest wine he would save for when the fireworks started.

Liam did a few finishing touches, but everything was ready now. He even had some music selected for the party as well. He was starting to get hungry and eyeing the snacks, so he decided he would go get something to eat. He decided on one of his favorite places the Bluewater Cafe. It was all the way over on Manly but Liam didn't mind taking the ferry over as it was such a pretty night.

When he arrived he found a nice seat at the front because the restaurant had an open front facing the beach which offered a gorgeous view. He ordered some fried crocodile as an appetizer as well as some wine. Seafood was always his favorite food, even before he lived in Sydney. For his main meal, he ordered some Calamari and pasta. As he sat there eating his wonderful food, he gazed down the horizon, watching each wave crash against the rocky shore like a glass bottle thrown at a stone, shattering into a million pieces. As Liam sat there eating, watching, and listening, he realized just how lucky he was to be able to live in a city like this.
