Chapter 1: Twins

"I won't be able to live as a seperate being when she's born... I'll pass for her to live" Calmly explained Pearl.

"N-no! This can't happen! I spent the last few months touring, I should of stayed!" Greg shouted in deep regret.

"This is what I want. I want this for HER."

"NO!" Greg screamed in fear.

"Please, Greg. Pearl wants this, for your daughter to be born." Rose said pulling Greg back as he retaliates. 

Suddenly a beam of light shone across the temple and Pearl dissapeared, but there in her place lay an incredibly small baby with long brown hair and shining blue eyes. 

"June..." Whispered Greg still with tears in his eyes, he picked up the infant and cradeled her in his arms.

But to Greg and the gems' suprise another beam of light shone across the room. There lay another small baby.

"Another? This was not the predicted timeline." Garnet said completely shocked.

"Lavender... WAIT- She's not moving! Lavender's not moving! NO NO NO NO!" Screamed Greg in complete panic. He put June on the floor and ran to Lavender to feel her heartbeat. .......... There was only complete silence and no movement. Tears flooded Greg's eyes.

"N-no... NO!", Greg screamed in agony " Rose! Heal her, please! I know you can do it!"

Greg fell on his knees and sobbed. Garnet held June and shushed her crying. 

"Healing humans from death to life is a very hard thing to do. Pearl did only want June after all, she never mentioned another human." Rose explained seeming not to care that much.

"ROSE! PLEASE ROSE! YOU HAVE TO HEAL HER! PLEASE... For Pearl..." Greg cried fearing the forever loss of his new born.

"If it's what you truly wish I suppose it's not hurting anyone to try..." Rose said starting to feel some sympathy. They warped to Rose's healing fountain and lay Lavender in the water. The beam shone once again. 

"D-did it work? L-lavender..?" Greg whispered softly hoping she was healed.

June suddenly stopped crying and to everyone's suprise Lavender's finger moved. 

"We did it... Lavender! Haha... Lavender!" Greg cried with tears of happiness flowing into the fountain. The two twins started laughing cutely and their hands held. 

"Man, this is so weird! Too little pearls, what are we gonna do with you?" Topaz chuckled, she was very excited as she saw the twins as her little sisters, two gems tiny like her to play with.
