"We'll be in the kitchen" she smiled at Adam, he nodded slightly making his way to the couch. We walked inside the kitchen and she turns towards me as soon as we are out of the hearing region.
"What is he doing here?" She asked whisper yelling.
"He came without my knowledge" I shrugged.
"Shhhhh" she whispered waving her hands at me.
"What?"
"And why is he here?" She whispered yelled again, damn this girl has a temper.
"I don't know but it's nice seeing him" I smiled.
"Nice? What do you mean nice?" She said as if it was the most confusing thing on the planet.
"I mean i missed him"
"Are you insane? What about what he has done to you?! Did you just forget it right away?!" She whisper yelled.
"I forgave him abby, I couldn't move on with my life unless i forgave him and i did, yes he didn't even apologize but i had to move on"
"So you mean you still don't have any feelings for him?" She asked with a blank expression on her face.
"Of course I don't !"
"Im not buying it" she said folding her arms tightly over her chest, shaking her head.
"How do i make you believe me?" I asked softly sighing.
"I don't know but i still don't trust him as well"
"What if i told you i like Jaden? Convenient enough?" I asked looking at my toes not wanting to make eye contact with her after my confession.
"No shit Sherlock" she smirked sarcastically.
"What do you mean?"
"I already know that you like him, but there's a difference between having Jaden as a distraction and actually loving him" she said softly as she sat herself on the island.
"Woahhh..... love is a really big word, plus i do like Jaden and I discovered that before Adam's arrival" i said, i do actually like jaden i really do. Indeed the way he makes me feel is way different than what adam used to make feel, of course i felt butterflies in my stomach and all that jazz but jaden is definitely different, he makes me feel special and comfortable in a way, I've never thought i would be able to open up to people like i used to do especially after what happened with adam, but Jaden just makes me wreck all my walls one by one without even noticing or trying too hard. I feel free like nothing can stop me, he makes me feel desperate, happy, excited, powerful and beautiful by just one look, of course i always mistake the way he looks at me as if it really means something and I tried my best to bury these feelings in me without anyone noticing but it's just hard with him being around.
"Hello? ...Earth to Emily" i was cut off by abby calling me and swaying her hand in front of my face.
"yeah I zoned out im sorry what did you say?" I asked and just received a chuckle instead.
"You really do love Jaden..... oh sorry like him" she smirked at me and I couldn't help but sigh and hit her straight at the back of her head.
"Ouchh sorry" she chuckled.
"Anyways where were you?" I asked changing the subject.
"I told i was at sway"
"Yeah right I forgot...... you said Jaden was furious and shit, what happened ?" I couldn't help but ask, I wonder what has got into him.
"Yeah as soon as he came he stormed to his room without saying a work and when Anthony tried talking to him he just yelled something around the line of 'I don't want to talk to anyone' and shut the door" she explained.
"Why?"
"I don't know as i said he didn't say anything, what happened between you two?" She asked curiously.
"Nothing, as soon as Adam came he started acting cold and weird and he just immediately left said he needed to go to the studio"I explained trying to link the points but it's just too confusing.
"Studio my ass..he's definitely jealous" she smirked playfully, wiggling her eyebrows.
"Pfff why would he be jealous?" I ask because I could dream as much as i want and it would be anything but jealousy.
"You are so unobservant aren't you?" She said her smirk just fading away replaced by a serious expression.
"Unobservant?!"
"Yeah...did Adam say anything about your past or say anything weird in general?" She asked trying herself to understand.
"Like what?"
"I don't know mentioned that you guys dated or did anything extra friendly?"
"Umm not that I'm aware of.....no" i shock my head, paused for a minute "oh he called me babe, does that count?" As soon as the words came out of my mouth her eyes bulged out of their sockets.
"Of fucking course!" She bitterly laughed.
"I don't understand anything" i said confused as hell, this whatever is going on is so confusing and frustrating.
"He s- " before she could complete her explanation Adam walked into the kitchen glancing between me and her I realized that we should have started cooking.
"Ummm we were arguing whether we should order pizza or cook pasta" I stuttered and chuckled nervously.
"Yeah Emily insists on ordering pizza" abby said after i gave her the glare to go along with my lie.
"Umm i agree with her" he said giving me a genuine smile, he's trying to make eye contact with me and i just feel nervous about it and look towards abby who has clenched her fists and just looking at him as if she's gonna snap his head off.
"Well....... I'm gonna go order the pizza" i said awkwardly before walking past Adam outside the kitchen.
As I walked up to my room my phone rang, I glanced at the ID and it was Kio.
"Hey kio" i said as soon as I pressed answer.
"Hi, I wanted to ask you about something"
"Yeah sure go on" I could feel him take a deep breath before enlightening me with what he wants to ask.
"Did something happen between you and Jaden?" I sigh.
Not this again
"No nothing important why?"
"I'll tell you later"
"Alright take care"
"You too" and i hung up. Why's everyone keeps on asking me this question continuously?! It's really exhausting and im trying my best not to keep my hopes up on what might be the situation they're thinking of. Jaden can be really confusing sometimes but i still get attracted to him each and every single day. I unlock my phone and glance at my home screen wallpaper , it's a photo of us laughing together for once I'm glad abby snapped a picture with my permission because it's beautiful. I was laughing and he.... well he was looking at me with that genuine dimple smile and he just had this spark in his eyes gesturing how happy he was, it just gives me a good feeling maybe temporary as it fades away as i lock my phone but still it gives me a feeling that maybe just maybe he feels something for me. Like he looks at me in a totally different way than other people, it makes me feel
