"Where are you?" I asked as soon as i press answer.

"Well hello to you too Emily, yeah im good thanks for asking" she answered and i could already picture her rolling her eyes.

"Yeah funny......where are you?" I said.

"Im at the sway house with Noah, why?"

"I need you to come home"

"Why? Does that have anything to do with the furious Jaden i just saw sprinting towards his room?" She said as if it was the most normal thing to happen in an ordinary day.

"What do you mean a furious Jaden?" I asked confused, he was calm when he left.

"I don't know as i said he just looked really pissed and didn't talk to any of us, what happened there? Weren't you guys supposed to go on your little date?" She asked and I could really feel her smirking at the last part.

"Erase that smirk off your face immediately abby not the time to tease me" I snapped.

"Jeez sorry" she said pausing for a minute " but no for real what happened?"

"Come home and ill tell you everything, there's a surprise as well" i smile evilly.

"Should i be scared?" She chuckled nervously.

"Very" i grin.

"God help me" She laughed "alright im on my way see you!"

"Bye" and i hung up. I stood up and walked out of the room and downstairs to check on Adam.

As i made it to the living room i found Adam sitting on the couch holding the remote going through the tv channels, as he noticed my presence he tapped his lap with his hand gesturing for me to come closer and i do make my way to the couch laying down next to him and putting my head on his lap, he started playing with my hair as he settled on watching jessie on Disney channel. I couldn't help the smile forming on my face remembering all the times we used to watch this show together when we were in middle school. We used to sit in the same exact position.

"Thought we were to watch Netflix and 'chill' " i said making air quotation marks while saying the chill part, obviously teasing him. I could feel the shake from underneath me as he laughs.

"I prefer our old routine" he chuckled.

I heard the front door burst open, I immediately jump from my position as if i was just caught doing a crime or something.

"Relax" Adam said looking amused as hell.

"Im here!!" I heard abby yell as she walked into the living room, as soon as her eyes looked at Adam they widened, her expression was a mix of shock and awkward and happy at the same time. Her eyes made their way towards me and she just looked me in the eyes as if she's making sure im fine with whatever is going on and they just kept going between me and Adam for a while until realization hits her that she was staring.

"Adam" she smiled nervously before walking towards us.

"Abby.... how are you?!" He said standing up opening his arms for her to step in for a hug which she returned immediately. She hesitated for a moment taking in everything before responding with a " im great! How have you been? It's been a long time" she smiled pulling away.

"I've been doing good and yeah it has" he said.

"Emily why don't you help me with the dinner?" She looked at me.

"But it's still 4:2-" i was cut off by the glare she sent me, it was terrifying.

"Now" she said through her gritted smiling teeth. I nodded immediately walking out of the room.
