Character Descriptions

Kerrubiel 

Amara Khan, She/Her, Human, 18. Respectful and polite to those she looks up to, but also has quite a daring and mischievous side once you get to know her. She had quite the rough upbringing, and because of it has minor social defects. She can easily lose her temper if you're just plain rude.

Fern Whittle, She/Her, Elf, 18. Amara's secretary and closest friend. She's a designer on the side. Extremely intelligent and responsible, always liking to keep things neat and clean. Her workspace is very organized, along with her thoughts. She thinks highly of almost everyone she meets, and is generally a very positive person. Besides all this, she's never been too great with feelings, and doesn't totally understand a lot of emotional gestures.

Constance Luna, She/Her, Bear-hybrid, 15. The castle's librarian. Very quiet, but reasonably noble. She spends most of her time working in her small conservatory, researching planets and otherworldly beings. Rarely ever has time to spend with friends, but when she does get out of the castle, she knows how to have a good time.

Joshua Banks, He/Him, Dragon-hybrid, 17. Anthony's son. Extremely outgoing, and loves to state his opinion. Brutally honest. Can be funny, but most of the time is just a pain to have to deal with. Attracts a lot of romantic interests thanks to his wealth. Is still working on controlling his powers, but greatly struggling.

Eric Barnes, He/Him, Bunny-hybrid, 15. Works part-time in the town's infirmary as an intern. He is very clumsy, always tripping over things, and has a lot of odd fears. Wants to impress his family by becoming a doctor, but also has a hidden passion for art.

Marco Whittaker, He/Him, Devil, 18. Follows Joshua blindly. Can be very flirtatious and confident, always trying to stand out in a crowd. He never thinks about the kinds of things he says, and that causes a lot of trouble for him. He's secretly very smart, and passionate about his interests.

Anthony Banks, He/Him, Dragon-hybrid, 47. Joshua's father. Very accepting, but can definitely come off as intimidating. He wants the best for his son, and all of his son's friends, and really just the whole nation. Is very hardworking, and prefers to work independently.

Maira Khan, She/Her, Human, 42. Amara's mother. Claims she wants the best for her daughter, but is secretly playing her cards just right in order for Amara to be the girl she wants her to be. Has always been very controlling, just to get herself high on the royal board. Can be sweet when she's just alone with you, but is most likely judging you. Has a good heart buried deep inside of her.

Hamza Khan, He/Him, Human, 45. Amara's father. Loves his wife and daughter endlessly, always going out of their way to support them in any way he can. Jokes around a lot, having trouble when it comes to taking things seriously. Sometimes is too nice, and lets people walk all over him like a doormat.

Connie Banks, She/Her, Ram-hybrid, 41. Joshua's step-mother. Extremely sensitive, taking offense to everything. She has zero sort of a relationship with Joshua, thinking he's a nuisance. Likes to use Anthony's money to buy herself nice things, but also deeply cares about her husband. She grows very upset when he doesn't pay her any attention, and will threaten him if he doesn't look her way.

Flora Whittle, She/Her, Elf, 38. Fern's mother. Very kind to everyone she comes across, but always seems very tired. Works in the town's bakery, day and night, with some help from her husband later in the day. Survives off of pure black coffee, and keeps her hair short. She finds it easier to work that way.

Cole Leonard, He/Him, Cat-hybrid, 16. Obsessed with finding his one true love. Takes basic kindness the wrong way and assumes everybody is dearly in love with him. Is very theatrical and extravagant, always pretending he's on some grand stage. Has been in love with Dexter for years, but has yet to tell him.

Dexter Ferguson, He/Him, Human, 17. Thinks he's some great magician. Ever since he bought a silly kitsune mask from a festival, he's convinced he has some sort of magic ability in him. Always walks around with his deck of cards. Or, they used to be a deck. He's lost like ten of them at this point. Refuses to ever take his mask off. He probably sleeps with it on.

Luke Gordon, He/Him, Snake-hybrid, 17. Big on any sort of sour candy, or just sugar in general. Has lots of gold teeth due to this, and quite the weak system. I mean, super duper weak. Just falling down on his butt would cause him immense pain. Because of this he's broken lots of bones. Others advise him to change up his diet, but he refuses.

Rhea Reid, She/Her, Human, 18. Very protective of her nation's borders. That's one of the main reasons why they made her a guard. She keeps very good watch, and listens to Amara's orders intently. Even if Amara is extremely lenient with her.

Esme Miles, They/Them, Human, 16. Extremely quiet. Never speaks. Nobody knows anything about them.

Lilliana Peterson, She/Her, Dog-hybrid, 15. Very upbeat, and willing to make friends with anyone. Can be loud, and gets excited easily.

Derrick Whittle, He/Him, Human, 39. Fern's father.  Works a well paying job at the bank as an accountant. Keeps those he trusts very close and dear to him. Helps out at the bakery later in the day.

Yasin Amari, He/Him, Fish-hybrid, 18. Always very lost. He rarely ever knows what's going on. Will just laugh for absolutely no reason sometimes out of pure confusion.

Sophia Nunez, She/Her, Human, 17. Has despised Amara ever since she's known her. Thinks she doesn't deserve her spot, and that's she's secretly fake. Is a huge suck-up to Fern in a pathetic attempt to get her to hate Amara. She's always plotting something.

Allison Whittaker, She/Her, Human, 15. Sophia's best friend. She's usually all over the place, setting things up for any new schemes that Sophia's come up with. She's very passionate about maintaining her friendship with Sophia, and just wants her to be happy.
