I love to read, but I've never been much of a writer. I'm giving it a try anyway. I don't expect it will be easy for me to transform what is in my head into the written word. Grammar and I have never been the best of friends, but I will try my best to not write like an idiot. No guarantees! I will post it when I rewrite the beginning and am satisfied that it is not total crap.

I would probably die without my iphone wattpad app. I'm a literary crack addict. There's no shame in that, right? I am continually delighted and amazed by the talent of the writers on here. I have several favorites that I follow like a crazed reading addict. I'm not much of a commenter and I will not beg and plead for more or send death threats. I understand people have lives outside of writing. When you have time to post, you will. I will read just about anything my favorites write or recommend.

Some of my favorites:
Karen Marie Moning
Vampire Knight
Kim Harrison
Rachel Caine
Amanda Hocking (awesome indie author from my home state of Minnesota!)
Patricia Briggs
Laurell K Hamilton
Patrick Rothfuss
Charlaine Harris
Jacqueline Carey
Sara Douglas
R.A. Salvatore
J.R.R. Tolkien
Jane Austin

As you can see, I mostly read fantasy and science fiction. That doesn't mean I'm not open to other genres. I have read the occasional mystery, thriller, or horror novel. I just haven't been able to bring myself to read a biography or one based on a war or history. My brother loves that stuff. So feel free to recommend things to me. I will add it to the long list of things I want to read. If only there were more hours in the day and less responsibilities in life my list wouldn't be as long. :)
