I have the rather lovely privilege to work with Wattpad as part of their Community Team. This means that I wander the UK with a large orange sign spreading the word about Wattpad which is great fun. Other than that, I suspect my normal state is dazed, grumpy and confused; this may be due to being an old git, or possibly due to having young children. One day when I’m awake enough I will try and work it out. Until then, there’s coffee... Recently I've started getting a few short stories published in various magazines and have taken the step of posting some of my work on Smashwords (see link above) and Amazon Kindle (Amazon UK - http://www.amazon.co.uk/A-Gift-Dark-ebook/dp/B00CE1P5C6/ Amazon USA - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CE1P5C6 ). This community and the friends I have made on here have helped me become the writer I am today, and that is due to the comment and critique that I have received over the last few years. Useful critique is brilliant, so if you spot any mistakes in anything of mine you read, please feel free to let me know and I will have them forcibly removed. I’m afraid I do not take read requests or fan4fan / follow4follow type requests. Please DO NOT spam my stories or my profile page. Spam = you asking me to read your stories or asking me to fan you. Good morrow fellows simians. I've been mining the archives and have excavated and dusted off a wee Drabble for you - http://www.wattpad.com/17520146-read-my-shorts-drabble-the-light - The Light. A mere 100 words, quicker to read than your water bill and far more interesting (hopefully). Certainly cheaper anyway... Enjoy!

@AgentBoredom - depends what the link is. If it's a link to your story or your profile, then no, as it's considered advertising which is only allowed via the Share Your Story threads pinned to the tops of the clubs.

@bigdaddy3112 - people tend to design their own covers and then upload them via the My Works page. You can download free drawing programs like Gimp and use a bespoke picture or find one via somewhere like DeviantArt. Once you have your picture ready, go to the My Works link via the drop down menu top right, then where your story is, hit the cover you want to change on the left hand side and you can upload a new one. You can also use the Wattpad Cover maker if you want.
