Hi there, I'm TheGirlWithThePen, and like many people on here I am an inspiring writer. I really can't think of a job I would prefer more than to be able to just write. My mind, luckily, is full of an endless stream of ideas, ranging from really weird, like killer monkeys, to really normal, and boring to the nth degree, like paint drying on a fence.
Not only do I like to write, but I also love to read. The thing is, I'm picky when it comes to stories I like to read. I'm not really a person with specific tastes, but I really do love things that break away from the standard for the genre.
Some of my favourite authors include: J. K. Rowling, J. R. R. Tolkein, Margaret Atwood, Brent Week, Edgar Allen Poe, Roddy Doyle, C. S. Lewis, and Mordecai Richler. As you can see, a bit of a wide range there.
I have so many ideas that I want to share with the world, but it's often hard to sit down and be able to write something with my schedule. I truly do wish that the only thing I ever had to do was write. Write and write, until my fingers are sore, and the ink of my pen is dried up.
Also, I enjoy writing tear jerkers.
