IT'S GLOOMY and the moon only serves as a light. I don't know where my feet would take me while I'm running away. I'm barefoot and only wearing a thin mini silk dress. I no longer care if my feet are already numb due to my speed.
Gusto ko ng takasan ang lahat. Ayoko na–
"F*ck!" Napamura ako ng mapatid ako sa kung saan at madapa.
I winced when I felt the pain in my knees. And because of the thinness of my skin, it bled immediately.
Dedma.
I ran again. Mamamatay rin naman ako, uunahan ko na.
"Yeah... that's a bright idea..." Panting, I said to myself. When I saw the end of I wished to go, I accelerated my pace.
I stopped when I finally reached it. I gasped. I took a deep breath. I looked at the sea like crystals in the dark. The wind blows my short hair as well as my dress.
And then I realized something...
"Oh, I don't have a bra." I laughed.
Damn. Why did I forget? What if my body is found? They might touch my body!
Oh my god.
I touched my boobs. Hindi na 'ko pwedeng bumalik dahil sobrang layo na ng itinakbo ko. I peeked at my two knees that had been bleeding since I fell. It is flowing down to my feet.
Instead of being scared, I just smiled bitterly. I feel like, the pain has lessened.
I looked up at the vague sky. The moon is very big and round. It's so beautiful. Just like me. Parang kumikinang ang mga mata ko habang pinagmamasdan ang mukhang hostia na umiilaw sa malayo.
"Soon, I'll be there! Fly me to the moon!" I screamed.
"Baliw."
Natigilan ako ng may magsalita bigla. Humarap ako. Napasinghap ako ng makita ko siya.
Itim na itim ang suot at tuwid na tuwid ang tayo habang magkasiklop ang kanyang mga braso.
"A–Anong ginagawa mo rito?!" Tanong ko.
"Seriously? Ako pa talaga ang tinanong mo? I should be the one asking you..." Humakbang siya palapit sa'kin kaya umatras ako. "What are you doing in this kind of place?" Napalunok ako.
Damn. Wala talaga 'kong kawala sa kanya!
"I... just want to be alone..." I answered while avoiding his deadly gaze.
"Liar." After he said that, my knees ached again. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko ng dumami ang dugo na lumalabas sa tuhod ko. Namumutla akong napatingin sa kanya.
"What are you... doing to me? Stop!" Sigaw ko sabay atras.
"I know what you're plotting to do, Lanna..."
"Hindi ko alam ang sinasabi mo–ah!" I was on my knees when the pain I was feeling intensified. I feel like I'm running out of blood.
