Thoughts and Poems are the Same Thing

Heartbreak Virgin

I've never suffered from a broken heart
At least I don't think I have
Unless you count the time I had to
Quit ballet for volleyball
And then quit volleyball for orchestra
And go to a college that doesn't teach French
And spend my time studying instead of writing
And stay trapped inside working and then...
I realize that I love myself and my passions
I love my hobbies and my life
And when I can't live how or do what I want
My heart breaks.
Who needs men?
