The war had ruined everyone. I remember the spells being casted left and right, and the huge cinder blocks falling down. The witches and wizards defending those who they loved most. In the midst of it all we got separated. My cousin the one person who was there for me through the death of my parents, the one person who helped me through the darkest days.
Then while running frantically through the chaos, I found her. Although I slightly wished I hadn't. She laid there pale as a ghost while her blood was being sucked out by Fenrir Greyback. Before I could react Hermione Granger sent a spell casting the werewolf back.
I ran up to her hoping it was all a dream and she would wake up, her bright smile would appear.
"Lavender? Hey it's me. Wake up please, you know I can't do this without you. Please." I pleaded one last time, but it was hopeless she was gone.
Lavender was gone.
