Chapter 42: Time

Jay's POV

I saw her smile again... I am so happy.

"Should we go?? I think the guard will be here soon" she said and keep all the things back to their places

"Sure... it's your choice though" I replied and immediately get her bag and waited for her at the door "Let's go?" I again ask and she said yes

We did our everyday routine, I walk her to the bus station and go together, and when she sleeps I will lend her my shoulder for her to have a comfortable ride.

She somewhat kept on stopping from walking, it seems like she is hesitating to go home though

"Is there a problem?" I asked her

She suddenly looks at me straight in the eyes and bit her lip "I just don't want to say it though" she said and again turned around as she smacks her head

"Why??~~ are you hiding something?" I asked her

"I don't want to say this but.... I actually don't live here anymore" she said and I just smiled at her which is making her clueless about it. I just continued walking "yah~ I am serious," she said as she keeps on poking me

"I know~" I look at her "I also know where you are staying out currently" I smiled and it made her face even more clueless on what I am telling her "yah~ I thought you are an AAAAAA+ student" I joked

"Then why do you still walking going there... if you already know" she said

"Did you not know that there's a great view of the city in your place?" I told her

"I actually don't go out often before," she said as she rubs her shoulders.

I removed my jacket and placed it on her shoulder. "I told you... the winter season is coming and you still act like it's summer... Aigoo~~ take care of yourself please" I told her and opened a pair of heating patches for her

"Thank you," she said

She was moving very slow so I helped her. I zipped the jacket but when I met her eyes. It made me hesitate but I hold on to myself and zipped it all the way to the hood

It's her fault... I easily get flattered.. Why does she look beautiful in everything she does

"Yah! You're so mean!" She said and ran towards me but instead of receiving her punches, I ran as fast as I could so that she will be the one to suffer not me HAHA

"Wait up~~," she said

I stopped and sat on the bench as I catch my breath and wait for her

"How did you know this place? I never have been here before" she said looking at the beautiful scene of Seoul's night lights

"I just happen to stroll around here... often" I replied

Just to see you

"Wahhh~~ even the skies are so beautiful tonight," she said

I look at her as she smiles so brightly like the stars "it really is beautiful" her eyes were lost in the galaxies and I just want to stop the time for this beautiful scenery in front of me

"Your mom is a friend of my mom," she said and smiled "I hope we can also be friends" what she said hurt my feelings but I will try to be more professional in handling this kind of matter

"Let's go?" I asked her "your housemate has a bad temper... so we better get going," I told her and lend my arm

"You're right... he's going to kill me" she suddenly laughed

Is she a psychopath?? Why did she laugh?

"Are you not mad?" She asked me

"Why would I?" I just responded

"Since when did you find out?" She stops me as she walks faster and spread her arms like she wants to play tag

"Since we visited his place... why? Are you sad that I didn't get mad?" I teased her and pinched her cheek "do you want me to shout at you then?" I laughed

"I dare you" she replied with those sharp eyes

I raised my hands as if I was arrested by the police, violating a law.

We walked back to the bus station and again ride a bus to Heeseung's neighborhood. We walked until she reached the front door of their house and a boy busted out of the door nagging at her

"Yah~ did you know that you left me here starving? How can I even cook a--- ohh~ Jay" Heeseung said as he looked at me, I just wave my hands. He looks at Avy with those dangerous eyes of him

"She didn't tell me a thing... I was the owner who found out" I smiled and his face turned back to normal

I think he really does have a dual personality syndrome

"I actually wanted you to know," he said straight and it made me have goosebumps all over my arm

I am somewhat mad at him but I can't... He is my friend for years and his family is rich.

"I should get going," I told them

"You should stay... Let's have dinner together, you haven't eaten yet" she invited but Heeseung suddenly changed his aura which made me back off and just laughed at him

"It's okay... I can take care of myself. You two should just go in" I told them

"Oooh... take care then. Bye~~" she said as she waves her hands at me

I already knew from the start that she can never be mine. Instead of giving up, I continued to fight even though right from the start I know that I already lost. I am just happy to watch her blossom and cared for her all these years. What makes me sad is that she's blossoming in somebody's yard.

Well because of her that I'm giving up on this love game, I think it's because I love her and just want to see her happy in the hands of the one who she loves. I think I will still stay beside her because of the emotions presented in her eyes. 

In a limited love, no one wins.
