He drags me out of the tense room. All I can see now is his anger towards his father
"Will you leave me too?" He suddenly said

"Nevermind, who am I to say that" He laughed and started walking "I don't want a ride home Mr. Seo... I need to calm myself down"
I kept my distance from him. Looking at his back, he is sad and I never saw him like this
"Yah~ Just be here by my side... I really need your presence... I mean I---"
"I know... Will you wait for me then? I can't keep up if you are walking too fast you know" I joked and at last, I saw him smile again "And... You look good when you smile, can't you just stay like that?" I asked him and his smile slowly fades away.
"Okay" He just said "Do you trust me?" he asked
"Of course, why?" I replied
He looked at my hand and slowly slipped his hand between my fingers "Let's run... before it closes" he said and sprinted
I hate to run... All we did is to run away from everything... but I kind of like it, as long as he is always here
We end up at an old restaurant and I keep on thinking why he chooses to be here
"This is the restaurant of my mother's stepmother... Even though they are not blood-related, she raised her well and everything she cooks is just like my mother's... I brought you here because I want you to taste it too" he smiled
We entered the restaurant and was welcomed with their warm heart
"Heeseung??~~ Omo~~ you have grown so much" A lady pinched his cheeks and then straightly look at me "And who is this lady here? your girlfriend?" she asked
Why do I feel like I am overwhelmed with the word girl-friend
"Aigoo~~ don't just stand there... Find a seat and I will prepare the best of my dishes" she said
I followed him over to the corner and it is beside the window
"I am liking it here," I told him as I sat down "Do you come here so often?" I asked him
Heeseung's POV
I brought her here because I was reminded of when I last came here with my mom. She said if she was gone I will bring the girl I like here at this restaurant because the food tastes the same as her cooking and she is totally correct. The girl I like~ Eomma... I brought her here and you always see her every day at your tree
"No... I just came here after how many years" I replied
We waited for the food that the grandmother will serve and it was a lot
"Omo~~ hal-eommonie~ please join us because we can't finish all of these," She said and pulled a seat beside her
"I don't want to join you on your date but since you invited me to join you, I will" she said
Looking at her, she was happy. She had a nice chat with my grandmother
"I like this one Heeseung" she complimented "will you excuse me for a second? I will just give this young lady a reward for making me see those smiles I was longing to see" she said as she looks at me
"You never visited your grandmother??" Avy said as she was concentrating her eyes on my grandmother "wait a minute, I will just give your grandmother a hand"
My eyes followed her
"Hal-eommonie~ you must not carry heavy objects... it will break your spine" she said as she placed her hand on my grandmother's shoulder "I will carry it for you" she bent over and lift it up like it was nothing
Both of them came back
My grandmother opened the box and searched for something precious inside it "Your mother said... you will soon visit me and if you do manage to bring a girl, I will give you this" she said
"What?? My mother told you that... How?" I asked because it felt like she was just joking around again
"Yeah~~ hmm... years ago, she always come in my restaurant to knit and make some jewelries herself" she stated
I keep my mouth shut and just see what is she doing "where is it?" She dig deeper until then I saw her smile
"Here... she really put her heart in creating such wonderful gifts to you" she said and handed me a wooden box with items filled in it "as for you" she looked at Avy "since you were the first woman my grandson brought here... then I think this belongs to you" she said and handed her a small wooden box
She was extremely happy and opened the box "It is a bracelet" she said and smiled "it's beautiful" she pulled it out
"Ohhh~~ I think I saw that before" Grandmother look at me with her eyes shining like the stars "my daughter also made a br---"
"Hal-eommoniee~~" I interrupted
"Okay... okay... I won't tell" she said and shut her mouth
"It seems like she knows my style" Avy complimented and immediately wore the bracelet "everything in here was a blessing... but it seems like I will going to be someone who can't go any further to that relationship" she said and turned sad
The adoption... Is that what's bothering her?
