Chapter 2

Heeseung's POV

"Heeseung hyung~ What's your section?" Jay asked me as he keeps on bothering my sleep

"I don't know" I just replied but he quickly grab my slip and read it

"Yah! We are on the same section!!!" He cheered

"So?" I grab the paper and dump it in the garbage bin

"Then it would be fun" he puts his hand on my shoulder which made me look even more mad about

"Yah! Why did you dump your slip?" Jungwon poked me

"What's so important with just a piece of paper?" I asked him but he just slap himself out of disappointment

"Yah! You don't understand! That paper has a note at the bottom part.. it serves as a notification to the teacher that you are in that section!" Sunoo replied in place of Jungwon

"What?... Nevermind" I told them as we continued walking

"Aren't you afraid of your father's golf bat? That will hurt you a lot" Jake stating the facts which I already know

"Heeseung.. I am worried" Sunghoon placed his hand on my shoulder

When we entered the room the teacher was just right at the door collecting slips

"My father will totally kill me if he will know about this" I told them as I focused on the slips being handed to the teacher

"I told you it was important" Sunoo said as he walks to his classroom 4 blocks away from mine

I turned around and ran to the hallway. I was lucky a familiar girl is passing by, she's Jay's first love Kim Avy. I knew her since 7th grade, she always have been the top 1 in all sections which made Jay like her even more. She's a simpleton but she's an easygoing person which a lot of people made fun of her

I saw her brushing her hair using her hands but it got stocked

She might have been through a lot again today

I grab her hand as we ran to the first garbage bin in the hallway

"What are you doing??" She asked "who are you?"

I look back at her not in a good mood

"What do you want from me" she again asked

"Can you find my slip in here?" I remove the bins cover and pointed inside

"Me??? Only me??? What will you do then?" She crossed her hands

"Just give me a hand okay? I will search over there" I pointed far away from the hallway

"Okay" she agreed right away

I keep myself away from her and pretend to look in the garbage if she looks back at me, making her do all the work. I am not used to digging in garbage though

"Found it" she said after she searched in the 5th garbage bin

As she hands my slip I can smell raw eggs on her head

She might have been bullied again

I hesitated to get the slips in her hand "Take it.. we're pretty late now" she smiled

How does she handle everything?? Why are you smiling?? I treated you like garbage

She handed my cramped paper and we went to the classroom together. I kept my distance away from her. She handed her slip to the teacher and approached her seat on the middle of the class

"Where have you been Miss Kim? You were the first person here when I came in" the teacher asked her

"I was called by someone important" she smiled but I felt something in her smile, sadness

"Mr. Lee! You're late again" I saw our old teacher from the Math department

"How come you only think of me as a bad boy" I responded while my eyes turned into hawk's. The teacher frowned because of my response

"Why are you with Avy today?" Jay asked me as soon as I sat beside him

"What's that smell... it's horrible!" A student shouted in the class as all of them looked at the girl in the middle

"Yah! You bullied her didn't you?" Jay was so mad about making me in the hotseat

"Why would I??" I crossed my legs and just focused on the teacher

"What happened to her then.. her hair is a little wet?" Jay told me as I took a glimpse of her

I wonder who did that to her too

As soon as the class was finished students were banging at her desks which makes her shake out of fear

"Yah! I can't focus in class because of you!!!" A student smacked her head

"I'm sorry.. I'm sorry" she just continued saying sorry and bowed to them

"If you ever touch a single bit of this girl.. I will kill all of you! Do you understand!" Jay placed her jacket on her head to cover her

"Jay hyung.. Heeseung hyung. We're here" Jungwon entered our classroom with Sunghoon, Nikki, Jake, and Sunoo

"What's with him again??" Jake asked

"Defending his only beloved girl as you can see" Sunoo crossed his arms

Jay then pulled her out of the class

"Jay hyung! We're here Aren't you going to greet us?" Jungwon asked but he doesn't care and continued to walk her out of class

"I just need to go somewhere" I excused myself as I followed them to the school's terrace. I just hide behind the door and listened

"What's wrong with you! Why can't you defend yourself" Jay shouted at her

She stood there just being quiet and suddenly she cried. Jay was frustrated but he gave in already

"Don't  cry.. please don't cry" he said as he wiped off her tears "I'm sorry... I'm sorry I got mad"

He just hug her to comfort her, even though she smells horrible

"He loves her so much but she keeps on turning him down... that's the question. Why did she?" I asked myself and just head down to our classroom

"Where have you been? Where's Jay hyung?" Nikki asked me as I entered the room

"Why do I care? I just went to the bathroom" I replied and sat down
