everyone landed in los angeles on a friday night and they were all exhausted from the day of traveling that they had to do

they all decided to part ways and get some rest before meeting up for the next day - after ricky and nini's meeting with quinn

nini was extremely nervous because she had no idea what quinn had to say to her.

more lies?

more excuses?

an apology?

she had no idea what was in store for her and it was all too scary

ricky told her to sleep over at his go which she gratefully agreed

they were now laying on the couch, watching a few movies on the tv while ricky had his arms wrapped around her nini as she laid back against his chest.

"you okay?" he asks quietly

the girl looks up at him and takes a deep breath before nodding "i guess i'm just-nervous?"

ricky smiles "me too," he admits "but we both know what's true and what's not."

nini nods in agreement "exactly. i just-i want all of this drama to end."

"it will be. after this, it'll be all sorted."

she smiles at him before he kisses the top of her head as they get back into their position looking at the screen, the two of them slowly falling asleep.

the next morning, ricky and nini both got ready with ease and both left the apartment hand-in-hand as they decide to walk together

they both were deep in conversation, almost completely forgetting that they were meeting with someone who had caused them multiple problems - until they saw her at the end of the port with her sunglasses on and looking at her phone

nini took a deep breath and ricky gave her a small smile as they make their way towards quinn

"hi." the brunette girl says, trying to hide her vague british accent that ricky caught all too easily

the blonde-haired girl looked up from her phone and turned it off, folding her arms "hi,"

ricky put his arm around nini as a form of protection because he did not like the way quinn was looking at her

"why did you want to meet with us?" ricky asks bluntly

quinn rolls her eyes lightly "well, technically i wanted to meet with nini-"

"yeah, and you really thought i would've let her come alone?"

"guys-"

"look, ricky, this conversation isn't supposed to include-"

"guys!" nini exclaims, gaining their attention

quinn rolls her eyes again and sighs "i asked nini to meet me here because-" she takes a deep breath "i wanted to apologize."

nini and ricky both raise their eyebrows in surprise and confusion

"wait-what?"

quinn groans "is it really that hard to believe?"

"yes, yes it is." ricky nods "after what you did-"

"i know what i did." she snaps

"why did you do it?" nini asks her

quinn looks at the two of them and scoffs "because-you guys are just so-"

"annoying?" nini finishes in question

the girl shakes her head "perfect."

ricky and nini both feel their faces heat up and laugh nervously

"h-how-"
"how are we-"

"two childhood best friends fall in love and find their way back to each other after being separated by nini's fame for four years, and last?" she says

the couple look at each other with love in their eyes and quinn sighs

"and that too." she says

nini shakes her head as she looks back at quinn "i still don't get why you said all those lies and spread all of those rumors."

"because i wanted to hurt you." she admits "i wanted to have-to have someone who loves me as much as ricky loves you."

the two stay silent for a few seconds as quinn continues to speak

"i mean- ricky is one of the nicest guys i've met, and i guess-i thought i liked him. i mean- he has every aspect of being a perfect guy. but- i also know now that he only loves you nini."

ricky keeps a firm face on, nodding in slight understanding as nini looks at quinn with a small frown

"you're going to find someone who loves you too quinn." she says

quinn looks at her and shrugs her shoulders "i guess. i just-i wanted to say that i'm sorry."

ricky and nini nodded and she looks at the boy

"-and i talked to the producers of the show, if you don't want to work with me, then i'll leave it." she says

ricky opens his mouth and looks at nini, who shook her head lightly to tell him something

he sighs and returns his gaze to quinn

"it's fine. we can work together. but that's it."

quinn looks at him in slight surprise and nods with a small smile "okay. thanks."

"thank her," ricky mutters before turning around and starting to walk off

"quinn," nini begins as she takes a step closer to the girl "i hope you know that- i don't want any more bad blood. we can be civil. i'm not saying i forgive you yet, but i think we can be mature enough to move on from all of this and continue with our lives?"

quinn takes a deep breath and nods "i'm sorry again nini."

the brunette girl smiles weakly before turning around to go back to her boyfriend who was waiting for her and he interlaced their fingers together

"that went okay." she says quietly

ricky smiles at her and gives her a quick kiss on the cheek as they both continue their way down the port, finally leaving the drama behind them.
