Phone guy said that the reason the first restaurant was closed was because of:

The anomictronics were reanimated corpses.
So that would mean is that golden Freddy is Fred bear and when Fred bear's family diner closed that took Fred bears look but made him brown and he became Freddy Faz bear and Fred bear's name was changed to golden Freddy.
So in a nut shell Freddy took golden Freddy's place.
