When scott first made FNAF the true story was that 5 children were taken to a back room and killed, then they went on to being the 5 main anomictronics that we all know and love.
When scott made the first game there were lots of things he had to cut but he told us that he would put them in the second game.
Its most likely that the second game wasn't supposed to be a prequel.
Along with the Endoskeleton, shadow Bonnie, and JJ.
But scott didn't think we would make huge theories that would give him ideas.

There's a theory that you are in a coma in FNAF and the hole game isn't real.
There's another theory that you play as the purple guy and that's why you see golden Freddy because you feel sad and ashamed for what you did which is why the anomictronics attack you.
