"Mummy! Mummy! Mummy! Wake up, mummy!Mum." I heard a small sigh then a few minutes later, something getting on top of my bed. Then I felt jumping. "MUM! WAKE UP MUM! CMON MUM! WAKE UP LAZY MUM!" I laughed after seeing James jump up and down yelling that for five minutes
"Alright, alright, okay. I'm up." I pulled him down with both my hands "I'm up James." Now in a much quieter voice, he said,
"What we g'na do t'day mummy?" I thought about yesterday. And how I had that little 'run-in' with Liam. And how he told me that he wanted to help and how I told him that we needed to catch up first. I thought about our park plans that will take place later today. I looked at the time on the clock

Ugh. I now have four hours till I have to meet Liam at the park with James. I wonder if h-
"Mummy?" Said James, interrupting my thoughts
"I was thinking of taking you to the park with mme later to meet with a....friend. How does that sound?" His eyes lit up and he jjumped off my bed and ran out the room. I heard him screaming;
"YAAAAAAAHHHHYYYY I WUV DA PAWK!" And I started laughing at his energy in the morning. I got up aand went to Carters room.
He was still sleeping - which I find hard to believe since James just went around the house screaming.
"Carter, hey, Carter wake up." I was standing in his doorway "Carter wake up!" All he did wwas roll over. "WAKE UP CARTER!" I yelled, throwing a small baseball at his arm.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!" He sprung up holding his left arm "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"
"You wouldnt wake up." I shrugged "Can you watch James while I take a shower?"
"NO." I gave him a look ".....You have to beg first." And I gave him another look. He sighed "I guuueeeesss...." I laughed at him and walked out of his room and into mine to pick out my outfit. After I did that, I walked iinto the bathroom, and into the water

I made some Mac and Cheese earlier and now James and Carter and I are sat in the kitchen eating it quietly. Peacefully. Carter turned to me.
"So...you're meeting him later...?" It took me a moment to register what he said and I finally nodded
"At two."
"What if James asks him if he-"
"SHHHHHH!" I warned him and my eyes darted to James who was now listening intently. "James have you finished eating?" He nodded "okay, you can go play now." we both waited patiently for James to leave the table and go to his room then turned back to eachother. "Carter, if James asks him that, then I don't know what ill do." I put my head down on the table. "Maybe I just shouldn't go. Ill cancel it." I said and Carter quickly told me that I shouldn't worry so much and that I should go get ready and relax and so I did.

I looked at the clock and groaned. I am currently laying in bed thinking. Thinking. Thinking. And now I was thinking that I would have to go to the park with James soon. What if James does end up asking Liam if he's his dad. Ugh I'm so frustrated. And I keep doubting myself. Maybe I could lie down for a while more then I looked back at the clock.

Or not. I should get going. I was planning on walking to the park and I wouldn't get there on time if I didn't leave...now. I got up anand walked out my room.
"James! Ready to go to the park?!" I soon heard small footsteps running across the floor then saw James standing in front of me; Boots Hat and Gloves ON. Coat Zippered. And he was standing straight and tall with a smile plastered on his face. "Ill take that as a 'Yes'"

"Hey, you wanna stop by the candy shop first," I asked motioning ti the small shoppe standing to my left, the walls painted light shades of pink and brown and a cream color with little ginger bread and snowmen in the window. He nodded eagerly and I stepped inside, glad to get out of the cold. We walked up to the counter and ordered something small to drink. A few minutes of waiting and the woman and the cash register gave me our drinks and I payed her then walked away with James to find a table. Once James was almost finished with his hot chocolate I told him we had to leave. As we passed by the garbage can, I thought I recognized a girl. "Hey, Brianna!" Age lokked up with a face covered with what looked like nutella. Her face-or what was left of it ;)- turned bright pink as she locked it all off and laughed and managed to get out
"Hi! How have you been, what are you doing here?"
"Ive been good! Life's a little hectic but its pretty good." I smiled and mmotioned to James "We stopped by on our way to the park."
"Oh, he looks bigger than the last time I saw him!"
"That's because the last time you saw him, he was 6 months old" I laughed then looked at the clock

"Ooh, ive got to go, ill talk to you later?" She nodded and we said goodbye before leaving.
